    We start with the public bus to Vierschach/Versciaco and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. After a refreshment (hut or self-catering), the way back is via the old Helmhaus at 2.434 m. With a 360° view between the Italian-Austrian border, we learn a lot about the exciting history of this area. Descent via hiking trail nr. 4a and the Rif. Hahnspielhütte/Gallo Cedrone hut to the Helm/Monte Elmo mountain station, where we then take the cable car back down to the valley and return to the starting point by public bus. difficulty: medium start: 08:40 am at the Tourist Office return: 04.00 pm approx. walking time: 4-5 hours approx. equipment: complete mountain equipment, water, food, rain protection The cable car is not included: Ascent & descent: adults: € 32,00 / U16: € 21,50 / U8: free of charge Don't forget your SÜDTIROL GUEST PASS for the bus.

    Na MUNT de emoziuns - Emotions up high with Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner

    The inner dimension of mountaineering Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, an Austrian mountaineer, is one of the most famous female climbers in the world. She has climbed all fourteen of the world's highest peaks above 8000 meters. She was the first woman to reach the summit of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, without using supplemental oxygen or the help of high-altitude porters. During this event, Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner shares her most intimate reflections on mountaineering, drawn directly from her mountain adventures. She talks about her physical and mental preparation, her passion, and how to overcome challenges. For Gerlinde Kaltenbrunner, meditation, intuition, nutrition, and the connection with the mountains and nature are crucial elements. You can expect a conference with personal stories and captivating images of the mountains. (The conference will be held in German). Powered by Karpos. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.
