The matching historical rooms bring the stories to life and create a very special atmosphere.     From the stunning Lake Misurina along the wide hiking trail via the Grave di Pogata and Forcella Maraia to the Città di Carpi refuge 2100 m. Along the way there are magnificent views of the rocks of the Marmarole and Sorapiss group. A wonderful resting place in the middle of the majestic Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, which invites to a stop and to feel the energy of the mountain landscape. It is also possible to use the Col de Varda chairlift, which reduces the tour by about half. The return path includes small variations and leads back to the starting point. Refreshments possibility. Difficulty: easy. Length: 11 km. Duration: 08:00 pm.- 03:00 pm. Walking time: 3-4 hours. Difference in altitude: 400 m.     Hike in the kingdom of Fanes through the legendary Fanes plateau

    The Kingdom of Fanes retains all its fairy-tale charm. Thanks to the amazing karst phenomena, you can walk amongst enchanting sculptures carved by water into the rock. There are also expanses of mountain pines, spectacular streams, lakes and pastures. This paradise has it all, including marmots and chamois grazing in the summer sun. Got your backpack ready?     37th Provincial Championship "Goaßlschnölln"

    The South Tyrolean Whipcracking (‘Goaslschnöller’) Association invites you to the Whipcracking Championship. Whipcracking will be performed in groups of 2, 3 or 4, and judged on posture, volume and timing. The loud whipcrack sound has been used by South Tyrolean herdsmen to drive cattle for centuries. However, whipcracking was also a means of communication over long distances on the alpine pastures, for example to communicate when food was ready or someone was injured. Today, it’s used at religious events, village and alpine festivals, parades and Alpine cattle drives to keep the old tradition alive. The 25th anniversary of Goaßlschnöller Villnöss valley is also celebrated. Followed by an after show party in the tent.

    Sky Marathon Rosengarten Schlern
    Tiers am Rosengarten/Tires al Catinaccio, Dolomites Region Seiser Alm
    Right in the very heart of the unique Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage, an Alpine Mountain Marathon with a length of 45 km and around 3,000 m of elevation difference will be setting off from Tires al Catinaccio: the Catinaccio-Sciliar Sky Marathon. The challenging mountain race will begin in Tires, lead round the Catinaccio Massif, over the Sciliar, past the Monte Cavone Hut and back to Tires. The highest point of the Sky Marathon is the Principe Pass at 2,630 m.

    Seven lakes - Guided seven-lake tour in Ridnaun
    Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
    The "Seven Lakes Tour" is a demanding but truly rewarding hike in the Ridnaun high mountains. We save the first two hours and 600 metres in altitude thanks to the shuttle that takes us from Maiern to the Moarerbergalm. From there we dive into the unmistakable world of the glacier lakes, in whose mostly calm surface shimmering sky spectacles are impressively reflected. For thousands of years, the lakes have been witnesses to the glacial world of the Ice Age. On our circular hike we enjoy the dreamlike view of the Moarer Weißen, also called the Ridnaun Dolomites. Ascent: 2h - 600 vertical meters and 3km (moderately steep) Descent: 4 to 6 hours - 1,350 vertical meters and 11 km (steep and bumpy) A break is made halfway along the Trüber See lake with your own provisions, no stop at a hut is planned. The hike only takes place in optimal weather conditions! Surefootedness, good stamina and a head for heights are necessary for some short passages!
