(FILM) Bob Marley: One Love USA 2024, 108 Min. To promote peace and understanding among his fellow countrymen, Bob Marley announces a big free concert in the capital Kingston. Shortly before the date, however, armed men break into the house where the reggae star lives with his wife Rita, their children and a few friends and accompanying musicians. Without hesitation, the men shoot wildly. There are several serious injuries, but fortunately no fatalities. In order to keep his family and his band safe, Marley agrees to move to London with them temporarily. There he records "Exodus", his most important album both musically and in terms of his message, with which he finally rises to global superstardom. Wicked and Bonny are known for their authentic Future Dub beyond the borders of the holy land of Tyrol and have played over 500 shows in clubs and at festivals all over Europe. Fun for young and old alike: clowns, puppet theatre, trapeze artists, jugglers, pantomimes and acrobats will all be appearing in Merano. On Monday, 10th June 2024 the street artists' festival Asfaltart visits Dorf Tirol. In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the clubhouse.

So far, renowned artists such as Thomas Gansch, Gianluigi Trovesi, Gary Bartz, Paolo Fresu and Uri Caine were guests. The festival is organized by the association Sweet Alps under the artistic direction of Helga Plankensteiner and Michael Lösch.

BARITUBE A new promising project by saxophonist Helga Plankensteiner with new compositions from the talents of the 3 musicians. RITA MARCOTULLI Italy's most prominent jazz pianist presents her solo programme. An imaginary journey inspired by everyday life, nature, experiences and the music of the different colours of the world. Original compositions, but also improvisations inspired by the emotions of the moment.

APERITIVO LUNGO ON THE VIGILJOCH Esperanto was born from an idea by guitarist and composer Luca Falomi and his collaboration with Riccardo Barbera, a versatile and creative double bass player. The name of the project is inspired by the language that emerged in the late 1800s through the fusion of idioms of Latin, Romance, Germanic, Slavic and Oriental origin. Accordionist Fausto Beccalossi has been part of the ensemble since 2007 and enriches the versatile project with his extensive experience and playing.
