All over South Tyrol you will find riding stables with offers for carriage rides, horseback rides, for riding weeks, dressage riding and western riding. South Tyrol is the home of the Haflinger horse, which was originally used as a workhorse on farms. Their special characteristics such as robustness, endurance and good nature make them ideal companions for children and for long rides. At the same time, dressage, show jumping and western riding are among their strengths.
