This dichotomy is what gives rise to the great diversity of our lives and our existence. It’s also what makes us so unique in the world. This is what we believe.
This mix is what makes us special
We South Tyroleans are shaped by our past. We speak German, Italian and Ladin. Here, the Italian attitude towards life merges with rural self-confidence. The contrast between Mediterranean and Alpine is readily apparent both in our landscape and in our people. We value and practice our traditions and customs, while leaving space for new things and emerge stronger.
