Some things are worth an early rise, even on holiday. You will be rewarded with the unique experience of an Alpine sunrise.
We will take the cable car to reach an altitude of 2,000 metres and set off in the dark, experiencing how the new day arises from the silence of the night one step at a time. After an easy hike (approx 40 minutes, 130 meters elevation gain) to the Steinermandl panoramic platform, we will savour the magical moment when the first sun rays bathe the mountains in their bright light.
The experience is rounded off by a stopover for refreshments at a mountain hut. (Consumption against payment)
The descent by cable car is available from 8:30 a.m.
Warm clothing is recommended.

The "Seven Lakes Tour" is a demanding but truly rewarding hike in the Ridnaun high mountains. We save the first two hours and 600 metres in altitude thanks to the shuttle that takes us from Maiern to the Moarerbergalm. From there we dive into the unmistakable world of the glacier lakes, in whose mostly calm surface shimmering sky spectacles are impressively reflected. For thousands of years, the lakes have been witnesses to the glacial world of the Ice Age. On our circular hike we enjoy the dreamlike view of the Moarer Weißen, also called the Ridnaun Dolomites.
Ascent: 2h - 600 vertical meters and 3km (moderately steep)
Descent: 4 to 6 hours - 1,350 vertical meters and 11 km (steep and bumpy)
A break is made halfway along the Trüber See lake with your own provisions, no stop at a hut is planned.
The hike only takes place in optimal weather conditions!
Surefootedness, good stamina and a head for heights are necessary for some short passages!

Together with beekeeper Michael you will open a beehive at one of his traveling stands, watch the watch the busy little bees at work and learn
learn all kinds of interesting facts about them. The crowning glory is a tasting of various honey of various honey products.

From the Provincial Mining Museum in Maiern/Ridnaun, trail no. 9 takes us on a relaxed, leisurely hike to the entrance of the wild Burkhardklamm gorge. At the waterfall, we breathe in the finely atomized aerosol of the Fernerbach stream, and the invigorating effect of these healing drops is immediately noticeable. You will experience the health-promoting effect that our scientific study at the Paracelsus Salzburg Private University has shown. We find peace and relaxation by becoming aware of nature with all our senses. The alpine hut Aglsbodenalm invites you to a cozy stop. With Kneipp treatments, we also let the calming power of the water work its magic on us on the way back.
Participation in the hike is possible from the age of 6.
Coming from Sterzing, follow the signs towards Ridnaun Valley up to Maiern.
The meeting point is conveniently accessible by bus line 312 towards Ridnaun/Maiern. It is the last stop. Arrival at 9:38 AM, the tour starts just 5 minutes later! The return trip to Sterzing is possible at 3:05 PM from the same stop.
Tip: The guided hike ends around 3:00 PM – the perfect time to join a tour at the Mining Museum, which starts at 3:15 PM. A great way to enjoy both experiences in one day.

Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
Mountain hike, starting from Flading (1,485m), via trail no. 30 to the Gleckalm (2,265m - not serviced). The first part of the ascent takes us through predominantly wooded terrain via the so-called Stiegen up to the altitude of the Klammalm. This is followed by a short, flatter section before we tackle the second altitude level. Passing the impressive Gleckbach waterfall, we quickly gain altitude. Another beautiful waterfall, which flows into a deep basin, can be seen at the top of the second altitude step. After reaching the ridge, the plateau of the Gleckalm opens up with great views. Take a picnic break here or at the nearby Gleckalm mountain hut. The return route follows the ascent path in the upper section and then leads us to the Klammalm, where a stop for refreshments is planned. We then descend to Flading via trail no. 12.
Total distance: 9.2 km
Ascent altitude: 780 m
Total duration: 7 hours (including breaks)
Difficulty: challenging - short, slightly exposed sections, surefootedness is required, good physical condition is essential.

The tour starts at the Ratschings valley station in front of the Rent and Go bike rental.
We follow the Pfeifer Huisele path along country lanes and forest roads towards the
Klammalm. From here onwards, the technical riders are in their element. The trail
towards Wumblsalm has it all. This is followed by a short descent across
meadows before a partly challenging section leads to the highest point of the tour, the Wasserfalleralm. Here we enjoy a long break with good food. Strengthened, we follow a fantastic panoramic trail to the Rinneralm. The last few kilometers are downhill on the toboggan run back to the starting point.

Experience an exciting day in nature on a family-friendly hike through Terenten. You will walk along the Stocknertal trail and the panoramic trail that leads to the circular mill path, taking you to the historic grain mills. There, a local farmer will welcome you and provide fascinating insights into the traditional craft of milling and the history of the region.
Along the way, you’ll pass the impressive earth pyramids—unique natural monuments formed in 1837 after a severe storm.
To round off the day, you'll visit a small but charming farm shop, where you can discover and taste handmade, healthy products.
