Experience the Mountains at South Tyrol’s Alpine Farms

Starting point: valley head Ridanna – Masseria (1.417m) This hike starts in Masseria, at the valley head of Ridanna. Cross the Ridanna river at the bridge and keep go left towards the mountain pasture Aglsbodenalm. At an altitude of 1.560m turn right to the mountain pasture Prischeralm. From there go steeply uphill on a forest path to the mountain pasture. Alternative: reachable also from the mountain station Rosskopf Monte Cavallo across the Ridnauner Höhenweg

The Seurasas hut is located in the heart of Val Gardena at an altitude of 2.020 meters. It disposes of a wonderful sun deck with a breathtaking view of the "Saslong" and "Sella" mountain chain. The Radlseehütte (2284 m) in the Sarntal Alps is located in a beautiful location at the Radlsee east of the Königsangers peak (2436 m).

An alp with traditional kitchen, a sunny and calm position and a perfect stop for biker and walker. Open from mid June to mid September.

The Latzfons Cross (2.300m) is the highest pilgrimage site in South Tyrol and one of the highest in Europe.

The Rifugio Genova offers cozy guest rooms and home cooking, as well as accommodation in rustic guest rooms with shared shower or in the hut stock. Group registration required. Opening times: June to October

After a hike to the Schusterhütte, you will be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and traditional alpine dishes.

The Sattler Cottage is a very well-located, calm mountain alp below the Möltner Kaser .

The alpine hut Planeil (Furgles Alm) is located at 2,203 meters above sea level and thereby has an excellent panoramic view. Leave behind the stressful everyday life and enjoy the almost untouched nature of the Planeil valley. You are welcome to relax on our sun terrace while tasting our food made from regional products. We place big value on fresh ingredients from the region and this is why we try to produce as much as possible ourselves. From mid-June our cows are back on the pasture and that is when we start the daily production of cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. Open from the beginning of June until the end of September.

Hmmm, what a wonderful food fragrance touches my nose? I smell the warm sweetness of the potatoes and the spice smoked bacon. This mixture is refined, only just picked fresh alpine herbs and already on my plate! Appetite to get our Tyrolean Geröstl, or can it would rather be a freshly baked apple pie? The food on our mountain hut of Mahlknechthütte is very tasty and all meals are prepared with love.

During a hike through the blossoming nature of the valley, you can forget the stress of everyday life and enjoy time with family and friends. From Kasern/Casere you can reach the Schlüichalm in about 45 minutes, which welcomes you with excellent typical dishes, friendly staff and a cosy atmosphere. The classic Ahrntal valley Pressknödel (pressed dumplings) and the homemade cakes are a must-have at the hut. A special highlight is the famous "Melchamüis" from Rosa - enjoy the traditional dish. Welcome to Prastmannalm hut! We offer you South Tyrolean specialties and products from own production. You can reach us from Kasern/Casere on a hiking trail or on a paved road (suitable also for mountain bikes, baby strollers and wheelchairs).

In the cold season you can reach us on a winter hiking trail, on foot or with snow shoes, and on the sunny cross-country track Kasern/Casere.

That's us, Melanie and Josef with Philipp and Tobias, the new tenants of the "Stierbergalm". We are a young, motivated family and together we want to bring new impetus to the "Stierbergalm" this year. We very much hope that we will be able to satisfy both our guests and our many four-legged roommates on the alpine hut.

Our hut is situated on the Alpe di Siusi in the middle of green mountain meadows rich of beautiful flowers. It ist he right spot for making a bread on your way up tot he Sciliar. Let yourself be papmpered with delicious typical homemade food, „Bretteljause“ (is a tasty South Tyrolean snack), specialities from milk and homemade desserts.
