What would hiking in South Tyrol be without traditional Brettlmarende meat and cheese spreads? South Tyrol has almost 200 Alpine farms and mountain huts, located between 300 and 2,000 m above sea level, serving these fantastic snacks. Huts feature fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and the lush valley floor. Wherever there are huts and farms, delicious food is never far away – from Seiser Alm’s high plateau, to the Hirzer or Salten mountains or anywhere in South Tyrol where hiking trails exist. Turn your next family hike into a highlight for the whole family.
