Excitement and fun: guided programs in the nature reserves of South Tyrol

What survival strategies do plants have? How are mountains formed? What animal has left traces behind? Effective answers to thee questions are made known to children and adults both in the Stelvio National Park and in the Dolomiti Ranger Nature Program held by the Three Peaks, Fanes-Sennes-Braies, Puez-Odle and Sciliar-Rosengarten Nature Parks . All programs are delivered inthe heart of the Dolomites.

During guided hikes, wildlife watching and adventure tours, Nature Park Visitor Center’s assistants and other experts impart exciting knowledge about the nature reserves in South Tyrol. With games, fun and fresh air, the whole family learns more about the history and geology of the Nature parks and National park and their flora and fauna diversity. The urgent question about how we can safeguard these unique natural landscapes is also addressed.

On the traces of nature

Just as each Nature Park has distinguishing characteristics in the flora and fauna, also their Nature Park Visitor Centres are concerned with a different focus. While one responds to water questions, the others reveal facts about bird's eye view and mountains.

Mindful in the Mountains

In the mountains, how you move, what you take with you, and what you leave behind all matter. Water is precious, nature is delicate, and the trails tell stories from long ago. With small actions – a refillable water bottle or a packed lunch without unnecessary packaging – you help protect this special place. This video shows you how to experience the mountains mindfully. For yourself, for those who come after you, and for the mountains themselves.
