Oops – The Light and Music Show That Enchants When a little dreamer loses their balloon, a magical journey begins—through light, music, and boundless imagination. Oops is an immersive spectacle that transforms the façade of the Hofburg Brixen into a living canvas, brought to life by 10 powerful projectors. Accompanied by an original soundtrack from electronic music legend Giorgio Moroder, this visual journey invites audiences into fantastical worlds full of wonder and delight. A show that amazes all ages—and supports a good cause: for every ticket sold, a donation of €1 goes to UNICEF. Follow your balloon. And prepare to be enchanted.

When late November fills the air of Molini di Tures with the scent of roasted chestnuts and mulled wine, the Saint Catherine Market brings the village to life. The traditional fair transforms the streets into a scene of music, dance, craftsmanship, and regional flavours such as cheese, speck, and honey. Among the most popular delicacies are Melchamuis, a sweet, creamy blend of milk, flour, and butter, and Schöttina Kropfn, crispy fried pastries filled with poppy seeds or chestnuts. People meet, chat, laugh, and enjoy the festive atmosphere together. What is now a beloved village celebration has deep roots: as early as the 17th century, farmers and craftsmen gathered here to sell their goods. Even today, the reading of the ancient market decree in Benjamin Square brings the past to life – a moment when history can be felt and tradition continues to thrive.

LUMAGICA transforms the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle into a magical world of lights. Under the motto “Sissi’s Journey Around the World”, visitors can look forward to artistic light installations, interactive elements, and atmospheric scenes inspired by the joie de vivre and dream destinations of Austrian Empress Elisabeth.

The Bressanone Christmas Market has been held for over 30 years. The Merano Christmas Market provides a magical atmosphere, with daily concerts, children’s entertainment, local customs and handicrafts. There are other Christmas markets in Merano and Environs too, offering textiles, jewelry, ceramics, glass and wooden objects. Closed on 25th December.

Brennet Liab enchants with festive brass melodies, bringing the pure Christmas spirit directly to the christmas market Algund – an experience for music lovers and families alike. The group is made up of selected musicians from the Burggrafenamt area around Merano and is complemented by a Styrian accordion. The four brass players explore a wide range of musical genres, including folk music, jazz, and classical pieces. They perform with joy and passion, a enthusiasm that hopefully spreads to the audience and makes the festive spirit of Advent come alive.

Under the motto "Lights-Smells-Sounds" the Advent market will finally take place again in Glurns.
Time for contemplation and culinary highlights.
With the medieval backdrop and the romantic alleys of the town, this Advent market is unique. It is characterized by contemplative and musical moments with brass groups and choirs. More than 45 merchants offer their self-produced and handcrafted goods.

However, for a few days a year, the skiing slopes of Dolomites Val Gardena attract the creme de la creme of skiing. And you, as our guests, will have the opportunity of following the skiing stars live from the edge of the slopes as they battle for a place on the podium of the FIS World Cup. The history of the World Cup in Dolomites Val Gardena goes back to the 1970s. The Saslong slope is one of the most beautiful and well-known stages of the world cup, what with its famous and feared ‘camel hump’ and speeds of up to 100 km an hour. The Ski World Cup took place in 1970 in Dolomites Val Gardena, among other places; on that occasion the whole skiing world set its eyes on the Saslong slope. Women and men took part in dozens and dozens of races on the slope as well as on the region’s other famous slopes: Ronc, Ciampinoi and Cir. Once more, in this 40th edition, the world's best ski racers will battle on one of the most difficult tracks in the white circus. The unmissable spectacle of the men’s giant slalom taking place on the Gran Risa, in the heart of the spectacular Dolomite mountains. From Alberto Tomba to Bode Miller and Marcel Hirscher, there are many champions who have triumphed on this track, which is one of the hardest slopes in the world.
