A special climate where you can breathe deeply

Is hay fever an annual challenge? Then you should visit the climatic gallery in Prettau,

a former mine in the Ahrntal valley located 1,100 metres deep beneath the rock. Entering the climatic gallery is easy with the mine train. Once inside, visitors can enjoy the special hygienic air quality. This former mine is more than just a place to relax: the special microclimate in the gallery can lead to noticeable relief from the discomfort of respiratory diseases or allergies. A stay lasts two hours and guests are accompanied by trained professionals and physiotherapists.

The clean breathing air in the gallery is free of dust, allergens and pollen and helps people with respiratory problems to breathe more easy. Also known as speleotherapy, “cave therapy” is especially recommended for chronic ailments. A stay in the climatic gallery is free of side effects and allows you to find inner peace. After all, the cares of everyday life literally stay outside.

Being active in the Ahrntal valley
