South to the provincial capital of Bolzano/Bozen is located Laives/Leifers and its neighbouring villages of Bronzolo/Branzoll and Vadena/Pfatten. Tap into more energy in Laives

Laives is in the cradle of apple orchards, whereas the neighboring villages of Bronzolo/Branzoll and Vadena/Pfatten lie between the Alto Adige Wine Road's vineyards. Both villages showcase wonderful historical sights, like the historic homes in Bronzolo and the ruins of Leuchtenburg and Laimburg castles in Vadena. To enjoy one of the best viewpoints over the valley, the small Peterköfele church is worth a visit. You can also have un unforgettable view on the Leiferer Höhenweg High Altitude Trail: after challenging ascent you can lay your eyes on the wide lowlands and boundless natural beauty. Down in the valley, you can hop on your bike and cycle along the Etschradweg cycle path to Bolzano/Bozen, Meran/Merano and Lake Kalterer See... or venture out on your racing bike for 100 km to Lake Garda.
