Our Packraft - Tour homerun (difficulty level medium) is something for adventurous water rats who want to test themselves and conquer the Adige river in their own boat. With action, fun and assertiveness, we master rapids, go around obstacles and relax on calm passages.
Accompanied by one of our qualified guides, the tour begins at our rafting base in Rabland/Rablà, where the equipment is handed out. With bag and baggage we go to Ciardes/Tschars.
Arriving at the boat entrance, we unpack our packrafts (inflatable kayaks) and pump them up.
As soon as all the kayaks are ready, there is an introduction to the paddling technique and a detailed safety briefing.
Shortly after, we're off into some extraordinary, splashing water fun.
Safety:
Only a safe experience is a lasting one. That's why our guides are highly trained. We also make no compromises when it comes to equipment. It is up to date and meets all required standards.
The Biathlon Centre at the the Martelltal valley is located at 1,700 m. It is one of the most modern biathlon centres in the Alpine region, and snow is guaranteed here.
It is a training camp and venue for national and international competitions. A guided shooting and safety training session with a small-bore rifle will introduce you to the
fascinating world of biathlon.
Adventure, adrenalin and breath-taking views: all this lies store for you in the exciting 4 Peaks Alta Badia challenge. The aim of this challenge is to conquer the four summits Sas dla Crusc - Santa Croce 2,907 m, Piza dales Diesc - Cima Dieci 3,02 6m, Lavarela 3,055 m and Conturines 3,064 m, on the edge of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage.
The ascent of these four mountains is to be attempted only by experienced climbers, as these peaks cannot be reached just on easy, well-sign-posted paths, but also via routes with some very exposed sections.
As proof of your achievement you will have a pass which must be stamped every time you reach one of the four summits. All those who manage to complete the challenge in two or more days will have the title “Alta Badia Finisher” conferred upon them. If you manage to complete the ascent of all four summits in one day you will be crowned with the coveted and highly deserved title of “Alta Badia Mountaineer”.
In both cases you will take up your place of honour in the “Wall of Fame” which can be viewed online.
