Charity event organized by “European Pound Hockey Championship.” This is a Pond Hockey tournament at City Hall Square, in the rink set up during the Christmas Markets. Women Sport Festival: this is the title of the conference series - scheduled from 4 to 14 December - that the city of Merano is dedicating to women's sport in its various aspects. Exceptional testimonials and speakers are expected to participate. Sports councillor Nerio Zaccaria: ‘An important moment of reflection on the different facets of women's sport, with a special focus on gender equality. The talent and strength of women in the various sporting disciplines, their successes, but also the cultural and social barriers that still exist in relation to their role in physical activities and in sport in general, gender stereotypes, the theme of abuse, violence, and addictions. This winter, we are excited to once again offer an exclusive ice skating course in collaboration with the talented figure skater Sara Furlan. With her many years of experience and passion for the sport, Sara will inspire you with the fun and beauty of ice skating. The courses are divided by age groups: Children aged 3–5: 16:00–17:00 Children aged 6 and older: 17:00–18:00 Sara recommends attending all the sessions to get the most out of the training. However, if you can only attend a single session, that is also possible. Christmas Celebration on December 23rd: As a special highlight, Sara invites you to a small Christmas celebration on December 23rd at 17:30. The children will have the opportunity to show their parents what they’ve learned. Afterwards, we will enjoy a festive drink together at the snack stand.

A special feature at Silandro is the ice rink under the open sky, right in the center of the village. Ice skates in all sizes can be rented at the ticket office.

We will guide you to eight especially beautiful and powerful cultural places in our region, all of which are marked and numbered on the map. There is an appropriate clue for each place. You need to find a wooden template with a picture on it and then copy it into the correct space on your sheet. Once every location has been visited and all of the images found and correctly entered on the map, the map can be handed in to one of the tourist information offices in Hafling, Mölten or Jenesien. In addition to visit the best cultural spots on the Tschögglberg mountain ridge, you will be rewarded with a little surprise. Important: Don’t forget your pen!

With our mountain guide Manuel we drive into the Höhlensteintal `till we arrive at the parking area before the Lake of Misurina. By snowmobile we ride above to the Alpine hut Rifugio Bosi. From there we start with our snowshoes to the Monte Piana to reach the Open Air Museum of the First World War. After our historic circuit hike we return to the Rifugio Bosi. It expect us the 5 km long sledging run slope among the UNESCO World Heritage with a stunning view to the most popular peaks of the Dolomites, like the Drei Zinnen of Lavaredo, Monte Cristallo, the Tofana peaks and many others. In the evening, the snow-covered landscape of wintertime Deutschnofen has a magic all its own. The moon and stars make the snowy slopes sparkle – if the sky is cloudy, we simply bring along some torches to light our way during our romantic nighttime stroll.
