‘Social intimacy’: the TSB's 2024/2025 season affirms the vital importance of theatre as a community reference point. The new programming has literally won over the Bolzano audience. The playbill designed for the Bolzano Municipal Theatre consists of 13 appointments with theatre excellence that are the result of the encounter between texts and artists of the highest calibre.
Do you like to stay at home in winter, put on felt slippers and use the remote control to train flickering dots into floods of images that then pour into your living room?
Nobody wants to stop you, but honestly: Improtheatre is a bit like couch cinema! Only much, much better! Because here YOU make the programme.
And as they say in Impro: if the theatre is full in January, spring will be as it should be!
It is expected to offer all winter sports enthusiasts plenty of fun along with important safety information.
Above all, it will provide valuable tips on proper behavior both on and off the slopes, first aid measures, and child safety.
This is an awareness campaign aimed at promoting greater safety on ski slopes and sledding tracks. The campaign is sponsored by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, tourism sector, in collaboration with the South Tyrolean Cableway Entrepreneurs' Association, coordinated by ski instructor and presenter Silvia Fontanive
BALLADE is the tale of an era, or rather two. A diptych, between autobiography and desire for care, loneliness and spirit of community: the present day with its bewilderments is the focus of Elegia by Morelli, while the 1970s and 1980s are portrayed in the choreography that gives the entire show its name, Ballade by Bigonzetti. The pieces accompany the audience on a journey between different generations. Bigonzetti's choreography is sewn onto a musical dramaturgy that draws on Prince, Frank Zappa, Leonard Cohen and the CCCP and is inspired by one of the most significant literary voices of the time, that of Pier Vittorio Tondelli. Morelli's Elegy was born around Frédéric Chopin. Within and in opposition to the music, the eight bodies of dancers seem to want to go beyond themselves in search of the care of the other. Tears of poems by Mariangela Gualtieri approach this fragile and hesitant humanity not devoid of impulses of the soul.

A picture from the past is sent anonymously to Jesko's mobile phone. Out of nowhere, he is confronted with something that he had actually buried deep in the turmoil of his youth at Catholic boarding school. What actually happened back then? Memories of Father Stein, who regularly photographed the pupils back then, come to mind. The search for the sender of the picture begins, but also the search for the truth and how to deal with a time at school that was perhaps more traumatising than he would like to admit. Three former schoolmates are sought out. All of them have taken different paths in life, have different memories of what happened and have different ways of dealing with the events that are now being set in motion.

Teresa Reichl (D): ‘Bis jetzt’.
Bayerischer Kabarettpreis ‘Senkrechtstarter’ 2023
Finalistin 20. Hamburger Comedy Pokal 2022
Jugendkulturpreis Dingolfing 2021
Kulturförderpreis Regensburg 2021
Teresa Reichl is almost 30 years old and has not achieved any of the goals she set for herself at 16. No house, no husband, no children. On the other hand, she has a girlfriend and a three-legged cat. And instead of teaching, there is the stage. How do you realise you are an adult if you make money from jokes? And how do you make money with jokes when, all of a sudden, a depression comes along?
Life is varied when one builds one's own milestones, goes from performing to therapy and does not have the fear of accidentally getting pregnant.
Life is also an adventure when you oscillate between small towns and big cities, between roast pork and iced milk with oats, between classic literature and TikTok trends. Then, suddenly, studies end and you find yourself choosing which insurance to take out, while it seems like only yesterday you came of age. No wonder Teresa, in her private life, prefers to do nothing - yet she always has something to tell.
Very light-hearted feminist cabaret. A perfect balance between serious social criticism and funny entertainment.
ABBA - Mamma Mia and more brings the legendary pop group ABBA to the stage in an energetic, high-impact show that will thrill and excite the audience! The audience will be transported back to the 70s and 80s while singing and dancing to these unforgettable classics.

'I love the epic, I love the chorus, I love the tragicomic nuance: The Empyrean is all of this together. And that's not all: it tells a compelling story. It is a contemporary text that dares to be set in the 1700s, precisely in March 1759. A contemporary text in costume? No way!’
Serena Sinigaglia brings to the stage L'Empireo (The Welkin), the most recent text by British playwright Lucy Kirkwood, winner in 2014 of the Laurence Olivier Award, the highest accolade in British theatre, whose plays are hosted and produced by the National Theatre and the Royal Court Theatre in London. Translated by Monica Capuani and Francesco Bianchi, L'Empireo (The Welkin) is presented for the first time in Italy. ‘L'Empireo is an extremely monumental and ambitious text: set in the mid 18th century in rural England, it tells the story of a jury of twelve women summoned by a judge who cannot execute a girl for murder because she claims to be pregnant,’ writes Capuani, journalist and translator, a point of reference for English and French theatre literature. ’The female jury will have to decide the truth or otherwise of this claim, and will thus have the power of life and death over her. From this female microcosm, the fundamental and timeless issues of women's lives in any era emerge. First of all, the unfair treatment that the law written by men still exerts on women and their bodies‘’.
Sinigaglia continues, ‘Empireo is the first play I have come across that tackles gender issues and does so without conceding anything to rhetoric or banality. It is dry, rough, true, on a par with reality. It also gives space to actresses, 19 characters of which 17 are female. A nice inversion from the average of characters conceived and written for women'.
