Bolzano. The Centro Trevi-Trevilab offers a truly extraordinary opportunity to get closer to the fascinating, and in some ways still mysterious, Etruscan culture. It does so with the exhibition 'Etruscans. Artists and Craftsmen', promoted by the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Italian Culture, thanks to the collaboration of the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia, directed by Luana Toniolo, a museum that preserves the most important collection of Etruscan finds in the world. The exhibition, curated by Valentina Belfiore and Maria Paola Guidobaldi of the museum's curatorial team, is part of the second stage of the 'Stories of Art with Great Museums' event, a multi-year journey aimed at discovering the great ancient and modern civilisations, 'another fundamental step towards learning about our past with the aim of keeping interest in culture and the rich artistic heritage preserved in Italy's great museums alive,' emphasised Marco Galateo, Vice President of the Province and Councillor for Italian Culture. The title 'Etruscans. Artists and Craftsmen' already introduces the particular slant of the Bolzano exhibition: it is not a generic exhibition on the Etruscans, but focuses on a specific aspect of their great civilisation, that of artistic and craft production.

After the first three editions (2006, 2012, 2018), the new edition presents another inventory of projects that document the architectural development process in South Tyrol and tell the recent architectural history of this region. The selection was made by an international jury. The exhibition New Architecture in South Tyrol 2018-2024 will be on display at Kunst Meran from 27 October 2024 to 16 February 2025. The publication of the same name with the selected 56 new South Tyrolean buildings and texts by Filippo Bricolo, Annette Spiro e Elisa Valero Ramos will be published by Park Books in Zurich. Snow does not always appear pure white, at least not to the attentive gaze of two painters like Alfons Walde or Max von Esterle. In his paintings, von Esterle poetically celebrates the magic of snow, while Walde - a little later - does so with concise expressiveness. This is the first time that these two important painters appear together in an exhibition. Alongside theirs, there are also snow-covered landscapes by other contemporary Italian and Austrian artists. All of these paintings create a variegated fabric that, unravelling, creates an unmissable spectacle. In the exhibition, of course, exponents of the art of our time with their abstract compositions or thought-provoking installations have not been left out. At the conclusion of the exhibition, in fact, at a time of climate change, a question about the ‘future of snow’ could not be left out: how much longer will we be able to enjoy this spectacle? A photo exhibition of thoughts and emotions. My name is Gabriel Colombani, and I am deeply passionate about art and people. The idea for this exhibition arose from a desire to express myself through photography, an art form I used to view as somewhat dry and self-contained. My perspective shifted when I had the opportunity to create this exhibition, inspired by a photo book I previously designed, which also lends its name to the show: “A me, a voi” ("To Me, To You“). This book is like a visual diary of my experiences, where each photo is connected to a significant person or moment. We humans are made up of countless facets, and few things are more meaningful than witnessing the reaction of someone seeing an image dedicated to them—whether beautiful or challenging. ‘Social intimacy’: the TSB's 2024/2025 season affirms the vital importance of theatre as a community reference point. The new programming has literally won over the Bolzano audience. The playbill designed for the Bolzano Municipal Theatre consists of 13 appointments with theatre excellence that are the result of the encounter between texts and artists of the highest calibre.

BALLADE is the tale of an era, or rather two. A diptych, between autobiography and desire for care, loneliness and spirit of community: the present day with its bewilderments is the focus of Elegia by Morelli, while the 1970s and 1980s are portrayed in the choreography that gives the entire show its name, Ballade by Bigonzetti. The pieces accompany the audience on a journey between different generations. Bigonzetti's choreography is sewn onto a musical dramaturgy that draws on Prince, Frank Zappa, Leonard Cohen and the CCCP and is inspired by one of the most significant literary voices of the time, that of Pier Vittorio Tondelli. Morelli's Elegy was born around Frédéric Chopin. Within and in opposition to the music, the eight bodies of dancers seem to want to go beyond themselves in search of the care of the other.
