When the snow glistens in the moonlight and torches light the circular cross-country slopes with start and finish in Compaccio, it’s Moonlight Classic time on the Seiser Alm in the Dolomites. On February 2023, the participants of the cross-country race buckle up their skiers and glide through the night. The fascination of the cross-country contest by night is unbroken – since its beginnings in the year 2007. South Tyrol Moonlight Classic Seiser Alm has it all: sports competition by night, trial of strength on international level and sports fun on Europe’s largest alpine pasture in the heart of the Dolomites. The participants can choose between the 15km and the 30km track. Both tracks are to be run exclusively in the classical diagonal stride technique.

The traditional monthly market is held on the market square from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm.

The Ski- & Snowboard School Ortisei invites you to the Kids Ski Show together with little skiers that participate at the ski courses and guests, on the Palmer slope. Come and join us!

The "Tru liösa Foram" night sledging run, which will be illuminated for the occasion, makes the descent under the stars truly special. The Piz Sorega cable car is open from 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. Possibility to rent the sledge at the mountain and valley station. No uphill access for skiers. On two full moon nights, the trails and the ski rental of the Cross-country ski centre Monte Pana will be open for you. The admission is free. The cross-country tracks are 30 km long, you can choose between 5 tracks of various levels of difficulty.

On the Long Saturdays, experience tobogganing fun in a different way: For all those who can't get enough of winter sports, the cable car runs even longer on these days! The women's giant slalom on the Erta has now established itself as a renowned race and can no longer be missed in the ski scene. The Erta slope is quite impressive - with a length of 1,325 m, a difference in altitude of 405 m and a maximum gradient of 61%, it demands the fullest skill and a large portion of courage from the participants.

Magical skating show on the enchanted Lech da Sompunt lake! This evening the Ice Club Alta Badia will take you on a fascinating journey through Ladin legends in a breathtaking setting. On the ice, our skaters will bring to life the stories handed down from generation to generation in the Dolomites, transforming the ice into a unique stage. We are ready to make you dream and to take you to a world of enchantment and fascination. To avoid too many cars arriving at the venue, we have organised a torchlight hike starting from the tourist office in La Villa.
