Bike Autumn: Sas de Putia – Round Tour
    Brixen/Bressanone, Brixen/Bressanone and environs
The adventure begins with a comfortable shuttle ride from Brixen to the Villnösstal Valley, arriving at Zanser Alm – from here, the real bike journey kicks off! We start on a forest road heading toward the Gampen Alm, accompanied by breathtaking views of the Dolomites and the Villnösser Geisler Peaks. The route then continues to the Schlüterhütte mountain hut. The final climb to this point demands a serious effort – but the view from the highest point of the tour is worth every drop of sweat. It’s the perfect place for a short panoramic break. After that, things get a bit more relaxed: we follow varied trails and gravel paths, with gentle climbs and descents, riding on toward the Gömajoch, passing the Göma Hut, and reaching the well-known Würzjoch. A quick stop at the Halslhütte hut, and then the grand finale awaits: a breathtaking descent on top-class trails, leading us all the way back to Brixen – pure adrenaline, scenery, and riding pleasure! • Mandatory equipment: Helmet, knee and elbow pads • Recommended: Back protector • Difficulty STS: S2 – S3 – advanced mountain bike skills required • Fitness level: 4/5 • Ascent: approx. 1,400 m • Descent: approx. 1,800 m • Distance: approx. 45 km • XC (cross-country), full-day tour

    South Tyrol CleanUP Days
    Villnöss/Funes, Dolomites Region Villnösstal
From 18th to 21st September, we will join together to collect waste thanks to the SÜDTIROL CleanUP Days. The project is organised by the non-profit association Patron. As part of the SÜDTIROL CleanUP Days, eleven South Tyrolean destinations are calling for nature to be cleared of rubbish. The clean-up takes place in Val d'Ega/Eggental, Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm, Villnöss, Olang and Aldein Radein, in Val Passiria/Passeiertal, Valle Aurina/Ahrntal and in the regions Valle di Casies/Welsberg-Tesido/Taisten, Gitschberg-Val Giovo/Jochtal, Lüsen and Racines/Ratschings. The eleven territories have one thing in common: they all strive to spread a conscious and respectful approach to nature. Furthermore, in IDM South Tyrol we have found a partner who cares as much about our planet as we do. The concept is easy to explain: by forming small groups, numerous nature lovers set out to collect rubbish scattered in forests, on the shores of lakes, in municipalities... in short, wherever rubbish has been left behind. Anyone can participate: Registration and coordination of the routes takes place via the CleanUP Map (interactive map) at www.patron-nature.org/en/cleanup/south-tyrol. Here, participants can directly enter their chosen date and route.
