The Ahrntal as in the good old days... The gladiators of the ski slope with their wooden skis, some even without iron edges, at 7 p.m. go from the Hotel Bergland to the Enzenberg race track, next to the valley station of the Klausberg ski arena. The daredevil skiers are accompanied by torch bearers and nostalgic music. Race start at 8:30 p.m. afterwards prize distribution and After-Race-Party at the Skihaus Pub.

What is needed for the stick skate: Skates,- rackets, helmet and gloves must be brought by yourself and are obligatory! Elbow pads and shin guards are recommended but not a must. Lightweight plastic pucks may be rented at the ticket office. Hard rubber pucks are not allowed. Mutual respect is required to avoid injuries and accidents. In order for everyone to have real fun, a few rules must be followed: No checks, no hitting shots, no high shots, no goalies. This winter the Ritten Arena, in collaboration with the Ritten Hockey League, offers for the first time a so-called public stick skating. The Stick skate offers amateur players and beginners the opportunity to practice the sport of ice hockey. On small ice surfaces, fairly divided groups play together and against each other. Completely without physical contact and without hard shots. Fun for young and old and especially for all enthusiastic recreational hockey players. Skiing, coasting and snowboarding at the foot of the Stelvio National Parc.  Anyone who needs a bit more practice for the larger slopes in the Venosta Valley skiing area or who would like to teach their little ones how to ski, will find a great ski slope with a special atmosphere in Prato/Prad. In the shadow of the romanesque St. Johann church, the small "Pfasch ski center" can be found with a magic carpet, a 300 m long training slope and an igloo to warm up.

The project “TRÄUME // VANISHING” delves into the pulsating heart of a generation grappling with an increasingly pluralized and undefined context, in constant flux. Its aim is to explore the deconstructive approach of contemporary times, highlighting the personal and collective challenges that fuel disillusionment toward the future. In an era where certainties seem to crumble, individuals find themselves relying solely on their personal experiences, desperately attempting to make sense of a fluid society devoid of rooted identities. Through a visual narrative characterized by an experimental and installation-like approach, the project unveils the fractures and discontinuities defining our time, analyzing the relationships between individual and plurality, isolation and collectivity. These dichotomies shape a disenchanted generation navigating fragments of reality, confronting its fears and insecurities. The body of work seeks to reassemble a coherent image of a world in perpetual transformation. The project is not confined to mere aesthetic representation; it invites the audience to actively reflect on their role within this complex scenario. It is a call to redefine one’s relationship with the surrounding reality, acknowledging fluidity as an intrinsic characteristic of our era and finding new ways to construct identity. “TRÄUME // VANISHING” aspires to become a profound and intense portrayal of a generation marked by uncertainty and precariousness, seeking new dimensions to inhabit and establish its identity.

Tour Description: We start the hike at the parking area of the cable car station in St. Zyprian (Tiers) and ascend to Runggun to the snowshoe gate. We continue across the Doss meadows into the Tschamin Valley, reaching the Rechter Leger. After a break, we cross the Tschamin river and hike down on the other side of the valley back to the starting point. Difficulty: Medium - good physical condition is required! Suitable for adults and young people aged 16 and over!
