TESTIVAL Shuttle tour with locals: Puschtra Freeride
    Brixen/Bressanone, Brixen/Bressanone and environs
The starting point of this tour is Spinges Cross, built on a hilltop, which commemorates the Tyrolean freedom fights at the end of the 18th century and from where we can enjoy a magnificent view over the Eisacktal and Pustertal valleys. The first ascent Brixen to this starting point is comfortably covered by shuttle. The predominantly flowing trails lead us over terrain that is atypical for Brixen: it is mostly dry, sandy and a little rocky here, but still flowing and fast, especially in the lower section. From Schabs, the route continues on the usual Brixen trail surface past the Neustift abbey back to Brixen. - Required equipment: helmet (full face recommended), knee and elbow pads; recommended: Back protector - Altitude difference (down): approx. 600 hm - STS: S0 - S2 - Fitness level: 2/5 Note: Shuttle is included. During the tour, you will be accompanied by a local who will show you the best trails without any worries. Start Tour: 10:00 am The tour described serves as a guide and is not binding. Any changes to the tours due to weather conditions or the riding skills of the group are at the discretion of the bike guide.

TESTIVAL Day tour: e-MTB Forcella di San Cassiano
    Brixen/Bressanone, Brixen/Bressanone and environs
In the heart of the Sarntal Alps, an e-MTB tour awaits us that is undoubtedly one of the most challenging and high-alpine routes we have ever offered at the MOUNTAINBIKE TESTIVAL. This area is still an insider tip and only a few have had the opportunity to explore it. Our adventure begins at the Garner Wetterkreuz, the starting point, which we reach by shuttle. At first, we make our way along forest roads as we slowly make our way up to the Klausnerhütte. However, the first steep ascent awaits us as soon as we leave the pleasant forest road behind us and things get really exciting. We immerse ourselves in high alpine trails that lead us further towards the Fortschellscharte until we finally reach the breathtaking Durnholzersee lake. At this idyllic spot, we take a well-deserved lunch break to take in the surrounding beauty. The majestic mountains of the Sarntal Alps accompany us throughout the tour and provide an impressive backdrop. The trails that await us on this route will demand a lot from us. They are technically demanding, rocky and riddled with roots. At the end of our tour, the trails will take us safely back to Brixen, where we can look back on an unforgettable experience. - Required equipment:helmet; recommended: Knee and elbow pads - STS: S2 with S3 sections; important: advanced MTB skills required - Fitness level: 4/5 - Altitude difference (up): approx. 1950 - Altitude difference (down): approx. 2700 Note: Bring your own bike to the tour. TESTIVAL Shuttle tour with locals: Peppertrail
    Brixen/Bressanone, Brixen/Bressanone and environs
In recent years, only the ladies have been able to ride this trail. Now we have decided to open it up to everyone. But be careful: If you underestimate it, it's on your own. The shuttle takes you "to the other side of the Ploseberg", the Pfeffersberg. A short but always relaxed climb takes us to the start of the trail. The descent is flowy and playful at the beginning and then changes to a steeper section where you need to be sensitive with your brakes. - Required equipment: helmet (full face recommended), knee and elbow pads; recommended: Back protector - Altitude difference (up): approx. 100 m - Altitude difference (down): 900 hm - STS: S1 - S2 (with S3 passages) - Fitness level: 3/5 Note: Shuttle is included.
