    SYMPHONIC WINDS 2023 & Jakob Spahn (Bavarian State Opera) The Symphonic Winds, this extraordinary wind orchestra of around 50 musicians, has enjoyed orchestra, has enjoyed more than 65,000 listeners in the last 34 years of its more than 130 concerts in the last 34 years of its existence, with more than 65,000 concertgoers. The brass orchestra under the artistic direction of Alexander Veit Symphonic Winds will perform this year together with the solo cellist of the Bavarian orchestra Jakob Spahn in Vahrn (Haus Voitsberg), Bolzano (Konzerthaus) and Merano (Konzerthaus) and Merano (Kursaal). Other soloists performing with Symphonic Winds will be Chantal Ramona Veit (vocals), Benedikt Sanoll (vocals) and Andreas Unterholzner (electric guitar). be heard.

    All that keeps these pure white sculptures alive is the bitter cold. At night floodlighting creates amazing new effects. 30 artists from all over the world will put their skills on display in the intern. Snow Sculpturing Festival taking place at San Candido/Innichen and at San Vigilio di Marebbe/St. Vigil in Enneberg. With the help of water and the freezing temperatures, fresh snow from the surroundings is packed to form giant cubes measuring 3x3x3 metres and placed at various points in the village.

The distances are 15 and 30 km,the classic diagonal style only is allowed. We promote young talents, support us! For every registration, the Moonlight Classic organisation committee donates one Euro, which will be doubled by a sponsor, to the South Tyrolean Sports Aid in order to support the young athlethes.

    Gran Fondo Val Casies - Gsieser Tal Lauf

    The Gsiesertal Lauf is one of the best-known and best-loved ski marathons in the entire Alpine region. It is the second largest ski marathon in Italy, and is held on the 3rd weekend in February in the Gsies Valley, South Tyrol (Italy). Ever since it was first held back in 1984, this race has never once been cancelled due to weather conditions. In 2021, the event was cancelled for reasons of force majeure (Corona). The event attracts a great deal of international skiers, with a good forty nations at the starting line every year and a great many World and Olympic Champions listed on the roll of honour. The race runs along two routes, one of 30 km and one of 42 km; the classic race is held on Saturday and the skating race on Sunday. The amateur “Just for Fun” group. with none of the stress of rankings and timekeeping, is also extremely popular, and the programme of events also includes the “Gsiesertal-KIDS-run” on Saturday. Her parents are all the more surprised when Anouk suddenly goes to bed at night full of anticipation. What they don't know: Every night, a magical door opens to a world full of fantasy and adventure for Anouk. She experiences exciting adventures, accompanies pirates on treasure hunts, masters challenges in the jungle and meets colourful characters at the fair. In the process, Anouk makes new friends and helps other children in difficult and challenging situations. When she recounts her night-time adventures the next day, her parents always say: "Honey, you only dreamt it!". all just a dream!" But Anouk has "proof" that this is not the case. And her grandma seems to know more about it...

    Südtirol Gardenissima: World's longest Giant Slalom

    The Südtirol Gardenissima is a prestigious alpine skiing race held annually in Val Gardena. It is known as the longest giant slalom in the world, with an impressive 6-kilometer track that runs from the summit of Seceda to the base station of Col Raiser. The Südtirol Gardenissima attracts participants of various skill levels, allowing all ski enthusiasts to experience the uniqueness of this race. Every year, 700 participants from different countries around the world take part, emphasizing the popularity and significance of this event in the international skiing calendar. The 27th edition of the Südtirol Gardenissima will take place on March 29 and, as always, will bring together some of the best Italian and international athletes, along with well-known personalities from the skiing world.

    The little skiers on the footsteps of the Südtirol Gardenissima. In 2016, someone came up with an idea that has become a tradition ever since: the day following the regular Giant slalom is dedicated to the kids and their own giant slalom. This competition will lead the stars of the future across 1.9 km and an elevation gain of 350 m. It starts on the Seceda and the finish line will be the valley station of the Fermeda chair lift facility. All the participants will receive a start package with plenty of nice surprises revolving around skiing and healthy eating.

    Begining of the Festival at 2 p.m. Beginning of the course at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. big after-Show Party with the devils of Kastelruth Every 2 years a Krampus run takes place in Kastelruth, with groups from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. The shappy fright figures with their artfully carved masks will provide again for a mad athmosphere, when they move in the village center and introduce themselves to the public. Various clubs will provide food and drinks on the parade. Afterwards a Krampus party is celebrated in the heated tent with a DJ until late into the night.
