Starting from the top station, a forest path leads to the Firenze Hut at the entry of the Nature Park Puez-Odle. The path beneath the vertical Fermeda Towers leads then to the picturesque Pieralongia hut. The ascent to Sas dla Para above the Fodara Vedla hut at 2,460 m offers a breathtaking view up to Cortina d’Ampezzo. Observe the shimmering roofs of the houses in the distance and experience the feeling of freedom, like the Alpine choughs dancing in the rhythm of the wind over your heads.

The focus of this special event at the Steinegg Museum is the ancient and valuable knowledge around the power of plants & herbs. During a short tour of the museum, visitors get to know the rooms of our ancestors, where knowledge about herbs was also practised. The lovingly furnished rooms, chambers and workrooms faithfully reflect the life of our ancestors. Afterwards, our instructor Tanja Rassler, practitioner of new alternative healing methods according to Gottfried Hochgruber, will introduce you to the secrets of the power of herbs. The focus will be on spring flowers with their various uses and healing powers - in keeping with the motto: "Spring is always the beginning of something new". A workshop will show how to make a carrot oil that prevents sunburn from the inside and that participants can also take home with them. In "Gezahnt wie der Kiefer eines Alligators," Ingrid Runggaldier explores the Dolomites through world literature and travel accounts, discussing notable travelers like Josiah Gilbert, George C. Churchill, and Amelia Edwards. Runggaldier, an experienced translator, also studies languages, literature, and gender studies, with a keen interest in mountaineering and tourism history. The talk is in Italian and German. Free entry. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

Approach by car via Meran/Merano to the Gampen Pass in ca. 1,5 hours. From the parking space at the Gampen Pass, take trail no. 10 to the Laugenalm and continue on the increasingly steep path to the summit ridge that leads to the summit. The "Laugenspitze" is a first-class panoramic mountain with beautiful views of the Passeiertal Valley and beyond. The descent follows the same route. From 23 to 26 May 2024, the new schenna e.motion event will be all about electric mobility and enjoyment. In addition to excursions with electric vehicles to the most beautiful places in South Tyrol, there will be a special supporting programme with an e-test and safety day in Bolzano, a tour of an e-plant, high-class enjoyment evenings and much more.

The Faslar mountain farm is located above the picturesque village of Stelvio. Here, the Haas family, consisting of young farmers, passionately manages their organic goat farm with around 60 German goats. A pleasant hike leads from Gamagoi through the mountain village of Stelvio, where it is said that even chickens need crampons due to the steep terrain. But where art, culture and tradition also come together in a very original way. Once at the Faslarhof farm, the Haas family will give you an insight into their daily life in the mountains and let you taste some of their farm produce. Well fortified, we return to Prato together with our hiking guide Sigrid via the historical mining-themed 'Archaikweg' trail. After the descent, the local organic dairy in the village opens its doors to participants, who can take a brief look at the milk processing centre, where fresh hay milk is carefully processed into cheese. The Braies Lake is located in an untouched rock basin and is overlooked by the majestic Seekofel, it is also considered the most beautiful lake in the Dolomites.
