The arrival of this beautiful time of year is traditionally celebrated in Schenna with a big Spring Festival run by the Voluntary Fire Brigade. All ages get together in the covered Raiffeisenplatz in the centre of the village to celebrate, dance and have a fun time. Alongside live music and all kinds of food and beverages, there is entertainment for the little ones, a vintage car blessing for the big ones and the traditional Sunday morning drink for everyone.

The Apple Blossom Golf Tournament is the perfect prelude for active golfers to start the new season. The pleasant to play 9-hole course is suitable for golfers of all ages and levels of experience. On the green, tournament participants enjoy local snacks and refreshing drinks. The award ceremony with great prizes and a joint dinner with blossom festive menu complete the golf day. 20.04.2024 51 km, 21 km or 11 km Laives Trail offers three races: The Laives Trail with 51 km, the Laives Sky Trail with 21 km and the Laives Trail Experience with 11 km. The trails are directed to single runners and are located in mountain territory on forest roads and hiking paths between the towns of Laives, Nova Ponente, Aldino and Monte San Pietro.

LANAPHIL, the widely known stamp collectors fair has become an international event with participants from all over Europe. Along with a large selection of historical postcards, military items, banknotes, stamps and genuine historical stocks, LanaPhil also offers old shares and bonds as well as books, etchings and modern European stamps from the last 20 years. As the Economic Show Isarco Valley 2016 was very well received by the participating businesses as well as by the more than 10,000 interested visitors, the lvh district group Bressanone is organizing another economic show for the coming year together with the business associations hds, HGV, SBB and the Entrepreneurs' Association of South Tyrol. The fair will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of May 2024 on the grounds of the Melix Cooperative in Varna and will be accompanied on all three days of the fair by an exciting supporting program for young and old. Around 100 businesses from the Isarco Valley will present their products and services and introduce their profession to the numerous guests. The economic show gives those interested an insight into the colorful and diverse economy in the Isarco Valley and promotes at the same time the practical professions in crafts, trade, gastronomy and agriculture.

After some final stretching exercises, a regional breakfast awaits us in the "Altes Gasthaus am Völser Weiher" restaurant at the Völser Weiher lake in the rising sun before heading back to the starting point.
