In collaboration with the Südtiroler Künstlerbund, on June 13, the chromoson ensemble will present an intermedia concert of contemporary music in the Sala Grande of the ASTRA in Bressanone, exploring the close connection between sound and visual perception. Music and color—two sensory worlds that complement and enhance each other in a fascinating way. Inspired by synesthetic experiences and color-sound concepts, the evening's compositions make colors resonate and tones shine. Light, projections, and musical textures create an immersive experience that blurs the boundaries between hearing and sight. On the visual side, two South Tyrolean artists who are intensely involved with the effect of colors and music, Karin Schmuck and Nathanael Noir, will join forces. Their works will intertwine artistically, interpreting the concert space in various ways through images and video projections. The music of the evening—ranging from instrumental music to electroacoustic sounds—refers specifically to the color blue: symbolically, metaphorically, but also concretely in terms of content, tracing different possibilities for translation from color to music. New works by Simon Stampfer (commissioned by the Südtiroler Künstlerbund), Jeeyoung Yoo, Gianni Tamanini, and Hannes Kerschbaumer will be performed for the first time, in addition to works by Kelley Sheehan and Gustavo Chab. Choir Festival in the Heart of the Dolomites From June 11 to 15, 2025, the Puster Valley becomes a grand stage: at the Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival, around 2,800 singers from all over the world come together to perform in the stunning scenery of the Dolomites – from Sillian to Brunico, from the Ahrntal to Val Comelico, and across the 3 Zinnen Dolomites region. 18 Italian and 42 international choirs will fill the valley with song. Concert venues include the music pavilion in the center of Dobbiaco, the parish church, the open-air stage at the Three Peaks Viewpoint in Landro, and the Euregio Cultural Center, which will host seven concerts in the Gustav Mahler Hall. A truly special atmosphere awaits all lovers of choral music!

The 17th edition of the legendary Wine Cellar Night will take place in the central part of the South Tyrolean Wine Road. Wineries, wine estates and distilleries along the South Tyrolean Wine Road in the wine villages of Appiano and Caldaro al Lago will open the doors to their treasure. The imposing cellar vaults will be the setting for a wine experiences from 5 pm to midnight. Winegrowers talk with their guests; culinary highlights and music make the evening a very special experience. The Wine Cellar Night celebrate the art of South Tyrolean wine, winegrowers and cellar masters and their excellent wines. The specially organised shuttle service, which takes guests from winery to winery, ensured unadulterated wine enjoyment and a cosy summer evening.

Once again this year, the Mals volunteer fire brigade is organising an after-work party in the Jakobsplatz square of Mals! The wave that carries beautiful things to Bolzano for L’OTTAVO MARE is playful and full of momentum, inviting everyone to ride it and feel part of a bigger idea, united by passion. The selection of objects curated by EDIT Napoli can be discovered for the first time at the opening party on 13 June at 7 pm, in the presence of founders Domitilla Dardi and Emilia Petruccelli.

The Manuart APS Association in Bolzano organizes monthly events dedicated to craft markets, where local creatives showcase their creations. Artisans from the region work with various materials, with a particular focus on recycling and sustainability. Visitors can discover a wide range of handmade products, including bags, jewelry, paper crafts, ceramics, wood, felt, crochet, fused glass, sculptures, paintings, wirework, leather, fabric, buttons, cans, and much more. Additionally, throughout the year, special days are organized for children to teach them how to create using recycled materials. The festival program includes around sixty performances, featuring concerts, open-air revues, and meeting days, where each participating choir is free to present its own repertoire. Founded in 1998, the festival stands out for its diverse venues and the rich variety of choral repertoires, making it not only one of the most spectacular international choral music events but also a meeting place for different musical cultures. A concert will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 09:00 pm. at the Paul Troger House in Welsberg.

The Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival is a choral event that takes place in the most beautiful valleys of South Tyrol More than 80 choirs from all over the world come together to perform and create unforgettable moments. The concert hall of San Vigilio will host two evenings, featuring outstanding choirs from all over the world.

For the 13th time, LANA MEETS JAZZ will take place in the form of a one-week festival in 2022. As usual, in the spirit of South Tyrol's musical youth, it is characterized by the joint performances of large and small artists and is probably unique in South Tyrol in its kind. The festival is organized by the association Sweet Alps under the artistic direction of Helga Plankensteiner and Michael Lösch.

Rosadira Bike Days from June 11 - 15, 2025 in the Eggental Valley Guided tours, workshops, South Tyrolean delights & get-togethers – all against the breathtaking backdrop of the Eggental Dolomites. For four days, everything in Welschnofen, Deutschnofen and Obereggen revolves around biking: from guided bike and e-bike tours at various skill levels to workshops for refining your riding technique or improving your mechanical skills. The program is rounded out by culinary highlights and relaxed afternoons in great company. Each location also features a range of exhibitors and opportunities to test bikes. Families are well taken care of too: a varied children's program ensures that even the youngest riders can explore the world of mountain biking in a playful way while the parents are out on tour. CHORAL SINGING AND THE DOLOMITES UNITED IN A UNIQUE, GREAT FESTIVAL The Alta Pusteria International Choral Festival is a non competitive choral event that takes place in Val Pusteria: this valley, one among the most beautiful one of the whole Alpine arc, is located at the border between Italy (Sudtirol region) and Austria (Osttirol region) at the foot of the Dolomites. The Festival programme includes about sixty performances divided into real concerts, “Open Air Reviews” and Meeting-Days, in which each participating choir can freely perform their repertoire. The first edition of the Festival took place in 1998; since then more than 1300 choirs, coming from 49 countries, have been participating in the twenty-five editions set up till 2022. The variety of the locations selected for the performances together with the extremely rich repertoire presented by the participating choirs make this event not only one of the most spectacular international choral festivals but also a unique opportunity of mutual and fruitful exchange between different musical cultures.

From game to game: Galloping into the Middle Ages is every spring the returning motto in the Dolomites region Seiser Alm. After the start at the Trostburg Castel in Waidbruck/Ponte Gardena the tournament goes on with four stages: at the Kofel/Mount Calvary in Kastelruth takes place the traditional ring jousting. The second game, the labyrinth, is on program at the Matzlbödele in Seis.The third of four stages takes place at the Völser Weiher lake with its gallop. The tournament concludes with the game at Prösels Castle, the ride through posts. Art exhibition with works from the artists in the gallery "GefängnisLeCarceri".

Everything is Connected LACORDA02 is part of Hubert Kostner’s most ambitious project to date, Sasmujel, created in 2019 for the Transart Festival. At an altitude of 2,400 meters, on the steep scree slopes of the Sassolungo massif, a solitary boulder measuring approximately 4 x 5 x 6 meters was wrapped in 10,500 meters of mostly recycled climbing rope. Nearly a year later, the artist “freed” the fragment of dolomitic rock. Some of the ropes used in Sasmujel now reappear in the exhibition LACORDA02. The rope segments, laid out across the floor of the ArtSpace, resemble archaeological relics—echoes of a distant era. This dynamic floor installation is the centerpiece of the exhibition and also serves as the raw material for the other sculptures and works on display. Since 2021, Kostner has been continuously creating new works from the Sasmujel ropes, each piece numbered chronologically by its time of production. In these sculptural works, the rope is stripped of its natural flexibility and frozen in static poses, defying gravity. Kostner often pairs them with artificial climbing holds, like those found in indoor climbing gyms. Through its colorful, abstract visual language and formal vocabulary, LACORDA02 becomes a metaphor for the diversity of social and interpersonal bonds—tight or loose, enduring or fleeting, strong or fragile. In a broader context, the rope symbolizes the umbilical cord that connects and sustains life between nature and humanity, highlighting the responsibility humans bear in this relationship.
