South Tyrol's winegrowers are known as unconventional thinkers who boldly took new and creative paths and thus built up one of the best winegrowing regions in Italy. As part of this year's Gourmet Autumn Naturns a number of winegrowers and cellar masters will be presenting their wineries and wine collections. GLASSIERHOF The term "GLASSIER", derived from the Latin word "CLAUSURA", was chiefly devoted to properties which, like the Glassierhof, were circumscribed from circular walls. The yard, edified in 1663 and since 9 generations in family property, is cultivated according to the organic farming principles (EWG 2092/91). In doing so, we take the line that quality has to be lived and breathed from the early start to finish, i.e. from cultivation to bottling. Our clear aim is to maintain, and preferably expand this traditon under personal commitment. (only in german and italian language)

At the Matsch Church Dayn in the culture hall on 17 November 2025! The day begins with a holy mass in the parish church ‘St Florinus’ This is followed by a morning pint with the Matsch music band. In the evening, Hermann & Marian offer you great musical entertainment.

First mentioned in writing in 1579, the estate is steeped in history and tradition. What began as a hobby has been perfected by Markus over more than 25 years of passionate work. Supported by his son Elias, who brings expertise in cellar management and product processing, the Bruggerhof produces natural liqueurs that captivate with their unmistakable flavors. The tasting takes place in the former cattle stable, which has been transformed into a cozy tasting room. Discover the story of the South Tyrolean apple in Merano! This apple tour of Merano's fruit cooperative CAFA will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about our local fruit. After a short introductory film, you can explore the entire cooperative in the company of our apple expert Franz and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. To round off the tour there is a brief apple tasting session. The weapons for Castle Karneid|Cornedo were once forged here. Today, wines of strong character are produced here. And they play by the rules of nature. You can find out more secrets about the Pitzner winery and the special philosophy of the two young winemakers during a wine tasting in the new vinotheque and learn exciting facts about the process from grape to fine wine. This short wine journey will take you from juicy white wines to full-bodied reds. Wine tastings are possible during the opening hours of the Enothek from Monday to Friday (except public holidays) between 9 am and 12 noon and between 2 pm and 6 pm. Immerse yourself in the world of Baron Longo. A walk through the biodynamically cultivated vineyards reveals the harmony between nature and winemaking – accompanied by our eleven Kune-Kune pigs, the small helpers who care for the vines. The path then leads to the late Baroque Baron Longo Palace, where architecture and wine meet in perfect balance. The visit concludes with a tasting of selected wines in the atmospheric Hall of the Barons.

Locally produced products simply taste better! Fresh vegetables and fruits, eggs, spices, cheese, honey, wine, juice….and many more quality products cultivated and produced in Kaltern are being sold from 8 am to noon on the Square of the town. Come by and experience the taste of nature. All these products have been produced and are being sold by the local farmers themselves. In a matter of fact South Tyrol enjoys of a very good reputation as far as the production of quality products is concerned. Thanks to the accurate cultivation methods and the strict hygenic regulations there is no doubt that these goods are of the highest quality and of the best taste.

We take the shuttle bus together to the Rebhof winery in Galsaun: Leo Forcher is considered a jack-of-all-trades in Val Venosta/Vinschgau. In addition to a tree nursery and fruit growing, he dedicates himself to his true passion: viticulture. Fertile soils on sun-favoured slopes provide ideal conditions for the growth of the vines. Oak, glass and breathtaking views: The Cantina Merano Winery is a must-visit for anyone who loves architecture, design and wine. During a guided cellar tour, visitors can learn how grapes are transformed into wine and explore the stunningly designed cellar spaces, each with its unique color scheme.
