On December 15, the duo "Souling Mates" with Claudia Fischnaller and Thomas Mitterhofer will transform the Christmas market into a special atmosphere. The Christmas market in Laives/Leifers is a meeting place for locals and visitors on the weekends during Advent. On Saturdays and Sundays, the local associations enliven the stalls at the fairground Piazzale Pfarrheim. There will also be a living nativity scene near the parish church of Laives, a nativity scene trail with big and small masterpieces and a musical programme. Ice Skating Fun in the Heart of Algund Starting Saturday, November 30, and continuing through mid-January 2025, ice skating enthusiasts can glide across the ice, practicing spins while improving endurance, coordination, and balance. Beginners are also welcome to join in the fun and can rent skates on-site. Just grab your hat, scarf, and gloves, and you’re ready to go! If your hands get chilly despite all the activity, you can warm up with a hot drink and a snack from the food stand.
