    Badiamusica - Ludus Quartet

    Concert of the Badiamusica Festival with the Ludus Quartet featuring Andrea Ferroni and Ivo Crepaldi on the violin, Alexander Monteverde on the viola, Ivo Brigadoi on the cello and Franz Comploi on the organ. At the court of El Escorial in Madrid The organist and the Ludus Quartet will be travelling together to El Escorial and will provide a musical accompaniment to the period in which Antonio Soler studied the art of counterpoint with his teacher and mentor Domenico Scarlatti (1772 to 1757). This knowledge made him one of the greatest composers for organ and harpsichord. Like Scarlatti, Soler also used elements of Spanish folk music in his works. Boccherini, who visited El Escoril in 1768, caused Soler to rethink his musical language at a later stage. Soler's style was now characterised by early classical music. Entrance is free.     Lorenzi night at the Knottnkino

    Every year in August, a particularly large number of shooting stars flit across the night sky. From 17 July to 24 August, the so-called "Perseids" reach their peak this year. This is also the case on Tuesday, 13 August and the Knottnkino cinema in Vöran is the ideal place to keep an eye out for the "lucky charms". Bring a picnic blanket, listen to the pleasant sounds of Julian and Jana and enjoy some tasty snacks ... Members of the South Tyrolean amateur astronomers "Max Valier" will also be there, with telescopes and interesting stories to tell about the night sky.

    Concert by Bozen Brass

    Bozen Brass is an extraordinary brass sextet which does not fit into any traditional patterns. They six musicians from South Tyrol are curiously different and always ready for a surprise. Benjamin Premstaller (french horn), Martin Psaier (trombone), Robert Neumair (trumpet, other instruments and all arrangements), Michael Engl (tuba), Manuel Goller (trumpet) and Anton Ludwig Wilhalm (trumpet) are the members of Bozen Brass and they are ready to take off to new dimensions. Solid musical education in national and international universities combined with practice in international orchestras and ensembles form the basis for their activities. They are a labour of love for music and enthusiastic musicians and they are keen to pass these virtues to their music pupils. That is why they are able to produce the finest sounds with their brass instruments. The audience is invited to follow them on a powerful journey through the musical history covering all kinds of musical styles.
