The guided summit hike takes us from the Ratschings-Jaufen mountain station past the Wasserfaller Alm to the Rinnersattel. We reach the 2,331-metre-high Fleckner via the Jaufenkamm ridge. On the way back to the mountain station we pass the Äußere Wumblsalm and stop at the Saxnerhütte. This hike is only recommended for people aged 14 and over.

We experience an unforgettable morning atmosphere on the Jaufenpass and let ourselves be enchanted by the unique atmosphere. This is followed by a leisurely hike along the ridge to the Rinneralm. After a hearty alpine breakfast with regional products, we return to the starting point. The breakfast includes homemade bread, real alpine butter, various jams, cakes, alpine cheese, sausages, muesli, yoghurt, eggs, fried eggs with bacon, juices and warm drinks. The hike only takes place in good weather! Total walking time: 1.5 - 2h Basic fitness and surefootedness required! Registrations only for children aged 8 and over!

On Wednesday, July 23th, it’s that time of the year again: The volunteer fire departments of Marling invite everyone to their traditional summer festivity! The event starts at 6:00 PM at the Marling fairground and promises an evening full of great food and entertainment. Look forward to a variety of delicious grilled specialties as well as tasty vegetarian dishes – there’s something for everyone! Musical Highlight: The popular band “Die Grubertaler” will once again accompany you through the evening with great music! The volunteer fire departments of Marling is excited to welcome you!

The Plawennpark in the heart of Silandro is the idyllic stage of our weekly evening concerts in the summer months. Today, we enjoy the dances of the folk dance group "Volkstanzgruppe Eyrs/Oris", with a view of the high tower of the parish church, the historic town hall and Schlandersberg Castle, which is perched high on the rock.

After passing the lakes, we descend to the Oberkaser Alm and via the 'Jägersteig' path to the Mutkopf refreshment hut and the muta cable car, where we then descend. 19991? Nineteen. Nine. Nine. One. No, we're not talking about the average metres of altitude that Dani Jung manages to climb each week. Rather, it refers to the day Ötzi was found. Ötzi? You know: the man from Tisenjoch, the man from the ice, the mummy from Similaun, probably the most famous glacier mummy since the Copper Age. But even more importantly, that very same 19.9.91 is now also the namesake for one of the most challenging trail running events in the racing calendar. Allow me: The Schnalstal Alpine Trail! The home of the SAT is the breathtaking Schnalstal Valley, or ‘Val Senales’ in Italian, in beautiful South Tyrol. The area has served as a film set for famous Hollywood productions, such as ‘Everest’, and really offers everything that fans of technical and alpine trail running can appreciate. And it is precisely this high alpine terrain that you can look forward to at the SAT. Challenging trails at breathtaking heights, past the site where Ötzi was found, steep climbs, technical downhills, incredible panoramas and routes that demand everything from the participants, but will be so satisfying for precisely that reason.

Experience Villabassa's history up close on a guided field name hike! Discover the significance of old field names that once shaped paths and places on an easy hike. Our hike takes you along an idyllic route where you can immerse yourself in the stories and legends of special names. Participation is free, but prior registration is required. The 8 summit march - a mountain tour of a special kind! This high alpine extreme tour covers 25 km and 3,000 metres in altitude. The route leads from the picturesque, medieval town of Glurns in the valley to the mountain peaks in the Stilfserjoch National Park. At each of the 8 summits you receive a stamp, which must be stamped on the start card. Only recommended for real mountain enthusiasts. Info: R e g i s t r a t i o n Registration takes place via the online ticket sale, which is possible until 20 July 2025 at the advance booking price of € 70.00. From 21 July 2025, the ticket will cost € 80.00 (unless the number of participants of 500 has already been reached). From 24.07.2025, registration will only be possible by telephone. S t a r t The church service will take place in the Frauenkirche church at 03.30 am. From 04.00 a.m. - 05.30 a.m. the start packages will be handed out at the Glurns Festival site. Please bring your ticket with you in printed or digital form. - You can start from 04.00 a.m. until 06.00 a.m. at the latest! R e t r a n s p o r t The return transport takes place from the Stelvio Pass between 12 noon and 6 p.m. Start and finish is the Glorenza Festival site Participation from 16 years! The organisers are not liable for any accidents during the march. The march will be held in all weathers. In case of bad weather, alternative routes will be used.

On the mountain Astjoch there will celebrated a Mass (in german language) with the music band of Kiens/Chienes starting at 11.30 a.m.

This apple tour will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about our local fruit. You can explore the plantages in the company of our apple expert Franz and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. Registration required: Until Monday at 4 PM online or at the Tourist Association Marling. The event takes place in German.

At 07:30 PM, the long evening with various sales stalls, will take place again in the town square of Laion. Food and drinks will be provided.

Evening concert by the music band Teis on the Museum Square in Teis at 8.00 pm. Drinks are offered. In case of bad weather, the concert will not take place.

From here we hike up to the Kofelraser Lakes and then descend into the Ultental Valley. Simple Men – that's Thomas Mitterhofer, Jacob Geier, and Thomas Schölzhorn. Founded in 2020, the trio performs at various events and venues across South Tyrol. Together, they bring carefully selected classics from the folk, blues, and rock genres of the '60s, '70s, and '80s to life. Free entry

The music band of Stegen invides you to a special concert evening with a varied repertoire.

Every year on the first Sunday in August the ancient miller's profession can be observed and discovered in the Ternertal Valley within the framework of the Mill Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.! Enjoy the splashing of the wooden water wheels while observing the grinding process in the old mills! You can savour local culinary delights such as home-baked bread, dumplings and fried specialities.
