After 1945, many bunkers remained operational during the "Cold War" until they were decommissioned in the 1990s and transferred to the Province of South Tyrol. Some of these defensive structures hold historical significance, offering unique architectural insights today. The bunker at Töll was acquired by the municipalities of Algund and Marling and has been made accessible for guided visits. An insider tip of the first order is the Blütenhöfefest on Sunday, 13 April 2025, in which 15 traditional farms in Lana, Völlan, St. Pankraz and Tscherms take part. Visitors will get to know historic farms and artistic residences in an enjoyable way and savour typical farm products on site. Visitors who are fit enough to walk follow well-signposted hiking trails and hike from farm to farm, while those who are more leisurely can take the free shuttle buses to the farms from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. Please note: Not all courtyards are suitable for coaches (50-seater). Due to limited parking facilities, certain farms can only be reached by a small shuttle or on foot. Larger groups are requested to register with the farms. There are limited parking spaces for coaches in Lana, two bus parking spaces are located in Lorenzer Straße and three in Zollstraße in front of the ex-Pomus. In the event that the indicated parking spaces are already sold out, it is advisable to drop off passengers at the bus station and continue to the car park of the Exclusive discotheque in Meranerstraße Lana or to the Lana industrial area where there are additional parking spaces.

Have you ever wondered where meat comes from, how it is processed and how the various meat and sausage specialities are made? Learn more about it at Martin's farm and butcher shop! After a short walk, you will reach the farm that he runs with passion and where he has realised his dream: a farm shop and his own butcher's shop. Here, he only sells meat from his own animals and from farmers in the Passeiertal Valley - regional, fresh and handcrafted. During the tour, you will discover the stories behind the butcher's shop, the farm and the people behind it. You will experience first-hand how much work and passion goes into Martin's products. Afterwards, you are able to taste the homemade meats and sausages as well as other regional delicacies in the farm shop. ONLY GERMAN AND ITALIAN SPEAKING GUIDES Museum visit: An introductory film provides a comprehensive overview of the origin and nature of the minerals displayed in the museum. After a 2-minute ride by private car and a subsequent hike (approx. 20 minutes) you reach the excavation site, where you will search for Geodes of Teis under the expert supervision of a gatherer. Note: Due to Paul Fischnaller's advanced age, the excursion will be led by another experienced collector if required. Tools, helmet and a pair of safety goggles will be provided by the museum. Local history tells that one of the oldest Baptist churches of the surroundings was rising on this beautiful square. Today, the Parish Church stands on an even older site dating back to the preromanesque period (lombard-carolingian architecture) and is one of the rare examples of a cross-domed church with central nave and side naves.

Next, we continue to "Kurzhof": Discover, together with farmer Oswald, how a traditional grain mill works. Final stop at “Hoferhof”: Let host Stefan introduce you to the art of bread baking and enjoy a delicious, traditional lunch with a hearty “Marendbrettl” with freshly baked farmhouse bread and homemade specialties. We take the Brenner motorway to Rovereto. Through the Loppio Valley and the Passo San Givanni we already reach the north-eastern shore of Lake Garda at Torbole. We drive along the eastern shore to Malcesine. There we enjoy a longer stay to get to know the famous town on the eastern shore. In the early afternoon we take a private boat to Limone. By bus you will then travel along the tunnel-rich Westgardesana towards Riva, the northernmost town on Lake Garda. Via Arco and the Sarca Valley past the beautifully situated Lake Toblino and through the narrow Vela Gorge we reach the Adige Valley again and the Brenner motorway back to Schenna.
