We start in Reinswald in Sarntal and hike uphill to the Pfnatschalm, where we stop for lunch and take in the beautiful panorama. We continue to the Getrumalm, where we pass various adventure stations of the Sarner Latsche, the alpine farm and the Knappenlöchern. From the Getrumalm we hike slowly downhill to Reinswald.

Together with Martha, you will start a leisurely walk towards St. Michael. After about 30 minutes, we reach our first stop: the Zerund farm. There, you’ll gain a fascinating insight into life on a farm – including a visit to the barn.
The hike then continues via Scherplatz to the Krahof farm. There, a delicious South Tyrolean snack awaits you, lovingly prepared with products from the farm.
The farm gates also open for us at Krahof: get to know the free-range hens that lay the popular South Tyrolean free-range eggs.

Approach on the Timmelsjoch road to the car park at the Timmelsbrücke bridge. Ascent from there via the alpine access road to the Timmelsalm hut and on to the Großer Schwarzsee lake. Continue the ascent on trail no. 30 to the Schwarzwandscharte and finally without a path to the nearby summit. The descent follows the same route.

We start with the public bus to Vierschach/Versciaco and go with the cable car to the Helm/Monte Elmo (2.050 m). Here the hike begins via the Hüttensteig path nr. 20 to the Rif. Sillianer Hütte hut. After a refreshment (hut or self-catering), the way back is via the old Helmhaus at 2.434 m. With a 360° view between the Italian-Austrian border, we learn a lot
about the exciting history of this area. Descent via hiking trail nr. 4a and the Rif. Hahnspielhütte/Gallo Cedrone hut to the Helm/Monte Elmo mountain station, where we then take the cable car back down to the valley and return to the starting point by public bus.

Autumn pleasures: Strudel hike - discover the secrets of the South Tyrolean dish
With hiking guide Paula we set off from the village centre in Seis to St.Oswald. A short stop will be made at the Puntschiederhof farm, where we can taste apple juice and apples. We continue our hike to the restaurant St. Oswald, where we are shown how to prepare the traditional South Tyrolean apple strudel. Afterwards we will taste it together.

The Tourist Office Algund invites every music lovers to the concert of the music band of Gratsch.
The audience can look forward to a varied program so that you can let your mind wander while enjoying the music. The band will play march and polka, as well as overtures and original compositions for brass music.
The conductor Bernhard Pircher and the 40 musicians also rehearsed concert music from countries such as russia, greece and israel. That means there´s something for every taste!

During the organ walk, starting from St. Anthony’s Church in Klobenstein to St. Peter’s Church in Siffian and then to the Parish Church of St. Lucy in Unterinn, the young organist Elias Gabriel Huber will showcase the respective church organs. On September 6, 2025, the 21st edition of the DYNAFIT Transalpine Run powered by Garmin will start in Lech am Arlberg (Austria), taking participants on a seven-day journey across the Alps – through Austria and Switzerland to South Tyrol’s Lake Reschen. This year, we have the special honor of hosting the finish line of the final stage on the 12th of september: Graun, with its world-famous church tower emerging from the lake.
In total, the route across three countries covers 243 kilometers and 15,135 meters of elevation gain

Every two years the associations of Bolzano invite you to the Old Town Festival at "King Laurin". These are non-profit associations that work on a voluntary basis in the fields of sport, leisure, culture and customs. They want to use the proceeds from this festival to fill their coffers so that they can once again put on great events for young and old throughout the year. In order for this to succeed, this festival requires the commitment of around 850 volunteers!
