The show, a reinterpretation of Sergei Prokofiev's famous musical fairy tale, combines acting, narration and music, with iconic sets by Emanuele Luzzat. Three bumbling actors try to tell the fairy tale... but without having studied it! Through comic gags, improvisation and the help of the audience, the children become an active part of the story, guided by the narrating voice of the “Great Narrator” – none other than Dario Fo, whose 100th birthday is being celebrated this year. In a light-hearted and playful atmosphere, the little ones discover the main instruments of the orchestra and their wonderful and unique language.

The Plätzwiese high plateau in the Pragser Tal Valley is a high plateau at 2000 m. From the parking area, you can already see two of the three possible ski touring destinations: the Picco di Vallandro 2839 m and the Pyramid (Crepe di Val Chiara 2711 m). The third ski tour, right in the heart of the Hohe Gaisl, the Pinscharte at 2565 m, can only be glimpsed from the refuge Plätzwiesenhütte. All three tours have one thing in common: you’re surrounded by the Dolomites, with stunning views of the Three Peaks (Tre Cime di Lavaredo). Individual athletes, teams of two and the tireless "mountaineers" will tackle 20 km and 2,000 metres in altitude from Bolzano to the Rittner Horn in running shoes and on skis. The participants in the mountaineering category run from the start, complete with ski equipment, for the Ulli Seebacher Prize. Route mountain race: Start in Bozen (Mountainspirit shop), St. Magdalena along hiking trail 6 to Oberbozen, Kaserhof, Riggermoos, Tann, Pemmern (transition area). Route ski tour: From Pemmern ski route along the designated ascent track Feltuner Hütte and ascent Rittner Horn. The starting signal will be given on 7 March 2026 at 9 a.m. in the centre of Bolzano (262 m) and leads over a distance of 20 km and 2,000 metres in altitude to the Rittner Horn (2,260 m). First with running shoes to the Ritten high plateau in Oberbozen, then to Pemmern to the valley station of the Rittner Horn mountain railway and from there on skis to the summit of the Rittner Horn with a fascinating 360° panoramic view of the imposing Dolomites and the surrounding mountains. Both men and women take part in the Horn Attack, individually or as a pair. In the individual competition, athletes take on the challenge alone. In the two-person relay, the pairs alternate in Pemmern. The first athletes run to Pemmern, the second athletes ski to the finish. Participants in the "Mountaineers" category experience pure adrenaline. They start in Bolzano with their ski touring equipment on their backs, walk to Pemmern and then strap on their skis to cover the last 7 kilometres to the Rittner Horn. The participants in this special category will be honoured with the "Ulli Seebacher" prize in memory of the co-founder of the Hornattacke, who died too young

The Merano Ski Club and the Merano 2000 ski area have revived an old tradition and bid farewell to winter with music, fun and good spirits. It is run in teams of three in different categories. Three racers, connected by a rope, master a simple giant slalom route, to reach the finishing line together. Each participant may only ride once per category. The time limit is five minutes, exceeding this will disqualify the rope team. Outfit: It’s nostalgic, fancy and a bit quirky – just like your ski outfit if you so wish...

(Carl Sagan) Cosmos is a reflection on the beauty of the universe: planets, stars, galaxies, and the space that unites and separates them, are so mysterious that they nourish the most daring fantasies. eVolution dance theatre reinvents the famous black light theatre in which darkness and the skilful use of light and visual effects give life to enthralling and exciting performances. Cosmos, the latest work by Anthony Heinl and Nadessja Casavecchia, turns its gaze towards the universe, a place where fantastic, floating, poetic figures move within imaginative spaces. The performance is the result of a long and participatory process in which each performer contributes to the final result of the show, enriching it with her wealth of experience ranging from classical dance to urban dance, from contemporary dance to acrobatics. Like every eVolution dance theatre creation, Cosmos testifies how research in terms of technological innovation can amplify, without ever replacing, the emotional and artistic contribution of its performers. Music, a fundamental element in the construction of the narrative, accompanies and intensifies the suggestions of each individual painting. Cosmos takes the spectator on a journey through unknown places, where science and understanding give way to imagination. The Watles ski area is once again taking a trip back in time this year, with a nostalgic atmosphere throughout the entire ski area. In March, when winter is loudly driven out every year in the tradition-conscious Upper Vinschgau Valley and the entire region is already being spoiled by the sun again, friends of traditional skiing meet at the Watles adventure mountain for a very special event. On this day, fans of authentic skiing fun take to the slopes in suits and ski outfits from the era of Luis Trenker, such as Norwegian dresses or Sarner jackets and hats, with the women wearing skirts and classic wooden walking sticks. They ski down the slopes on original wooden skis. And at the exuberant celebration afterwards, with regional specialities (food like in the old days), there is a waltz in the ski hut instead of après-ski. The precious recipes have been passed down from generation to generation and are based on simple ingredients and identified by their genuine taste. The Sellaronda Skimarathon, an international night ski mountaineering race around the Sella massif, takes place this year in Corvara. Start and finish are in Corvara, with the race beginning at 6:00 pm. The 42 km course runs through Arabba, Canazei, and Selva Gardena before returning to Corvara.

Schwemmalm Open Air 2026 will take place on 21 March. The party will be in full swing at the mountain station of the schwemmalm cable car, at an altitude of 2,150 meters! Afterwards, the after-show party will take place at the valley station of the schwemmalm cable car! Admission to the open air event is included with a multi-day ski pass, a season ticket or a day ticket. Those who only want to go up for the open air event only pay the price for the ascent and descent with the cable car. The Ultentalcard is NOT valid on this day!
