The multi-coloured autumn leaves and trees invites you with sweet ripe apples, beckon visitors to visit the Natz-Schabs High Apple Plateau. For a week in autumn, everything revolves around the apple, giving rise to a series of events. The Apple Festival is held on the second Sunday in October and is the climax of the autumn celebrations in Natz. The highlight is a big parade and the awarding of the Apple Queen title.

After leisurely walks through the golden autumn landscape, guests and South Tyroleans enjoy the products of the harvest, especially chestnuts and new wine (Sußer). On this week's hike we visit the Bachlerhof. We take the bus from the village centre of Schenna up to the Pichler restaurant and then hike through the Vallplatz forest to the Bachlerhof farm and after a stop for refreshments we continue to Verdins. From the starting point you are free to decide whether to return on foot or by bus. A Törggelemenü and hearty music are of course not to be missed! The bus takes us to the beautiful village of Ciardes in the Vinschgau, where we walk through orchards to the Waal (irrigation channel) and along it, without too much effort, to Juval Castle. Wine Lane Termeno/Tramin in the historic centre. Enjoy a glass of wine, a few typical dishes, music and folklore. From early afternoon till late at night the famous "Traminer Weingassl" or Wine Alleyway will be scene of exciting adventures which, for a few hours at least, will take you far from your daily routine and offer you a special evening in the magnificent autumn detting, along the Wine Road. The celebrations of the "Wine Alleyway", in the heart of the historic centre of Termeno which is open only to pedestrians, is an appointment not to be missed: the best Traminer wines will be offered in cups made for this very occasion along with special South Tyrolean delicacies in an atmosphere of music and folklore.

The VKE - Naturno section - invites all families to the autumn festival - an entertaining afternoon for young and old: craft station, face painting, VKE bus, roasting chestnuts and sale of drinks and pastries.

The mythical creatures are so mysterious that they involuntarily cast a spell over the viewer. You will encounter figures such as bird-women and goat-fish, dog-headed creatures, shadow-footed creatures and many more. Let yourself be whisked away into a realm of archaic beauty and mystery. The chapel offers wonderful frescoes from the Romanesque and Gothic periods with many exciting scenes, which were created between 1220 and 1450. Duration approx. 45 minutes.

The farmers’ festival at Teis, which will take place on 19th October 2025, is one of South Tyrol’s most traditional festivals and a true journey of discovery through the crafts and customs of the Villnöss valley. On the festival, you’ll learn how to do old farm crafts such as baking bread, weaving baskets and hats, felting, carving and pottery. Freshly prepared, rustic specialties are also served, while musical groups play in the charming village lanes. Beginning at 10.00 am.

Castelmusika invites you on Sunday 19th october 2025 to an autumnal experience between Eppan's castles and manor houses under the sign of music. The Eppan and South Tyrolean music and traditional dance groups enliven historical walls and courtyardss with a diverse repertoire.

Experience the "Allerweltskirchtag" on the church square in Marling with the "Weisenbläser" and the Whip-Crackers from Marling! After the church service, around 9:30 AM, you’ll have the opportunity to experience local tradition and customs up close. A special experience for everyone!

The music bands of Eppan vitalize their audience with a diverse repertoire in the historic walls and courtyards. The visitors walk through palaces, castles and residences and experience on this simple walking route a pleasant mix of autumnal atmosphere, history and music.

Naturno has made a name for itself as a market town in recent years; the much-visited and popular weekly market on Saturdays has become indispensable for locals and holidaymakers alike, and attracts many visitors to the village. The "Kirchtigmarkt" is one of the three annual markets where up to 55 stallholders offer their goods.

Kaltern Pop is the name of Kaltern's lakeview festival, entirely dedicated to everyone who is fond of music, wine and good food. Those who haven't missed the last edition of the Kaltern Pop Festival will remember it as three truly unforgettable October days: about 30 international bands as well as solo artists have inspired and touched both local and foreign visitors with their different styles and great professionalism. Several prestigious concerts, combined with the excellent wines of this territory, will be held in the ancient walls of the towns that unfold on one of Europe's most beautiful wine routes. The stories behind their production and great music will be the protagonists of the third edition of WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road. The entrance includes the musical performance and the chance to taste and enjoy a beautiful selection of wines in unique locations. An initiative of the Alto Adige Wine Road in collaboration with the Tourist Associations of Nalles, Andriano, Terlano, Appiano, Caldaro al Lago, Termeno, Bassa Atesina, Castelfeder and Laives Bronzolo Vadena as well as the Tourist Board Bolzano. The historic winery of Elena Walch will open its doors to the concert attendees. After the final notes have faded away in the historically significant courtyard, with a view of the picturesque mountain scenery, we will take you on a journey of discovery through our wine cellars. Today, in the former Jesuit monastery, using both traditional and avant-garde techniques, Elena Walch creates her multi-award-winning wines. The charming contrast between intricately carved wooden barrels and the highly modern fermentation cellar with its architectural highlights perfectly reflects our identity and versatility. Following the concert, there will be a tasting of selected wines in the estate's park, where you'll have the opportunity to experience it for yourself!
