This varied hike takes you through a fascinating landscape at the foot of the Latemar: from expansive alpine meadows and mystical rock labyrinths to a hidden lake in the middle of the forest. Perfect for an adventurous day in the Dolomites! Tour Description: Our tour begins at the Tiers cable car, which takes us comfortably to the Frommer Alm. From there, bus line 186 brings us to the Nigerstraße intersection, where our hike starts on foot. We follow the trail across the idyllic Latemar meadows, offering breathtaking views of the Dolomites and the perfect spot for a short break to soak in the surroundings. The path then leads us into the famous Latemar Labyrinth, a highlight of the hike. This labyrinth of massive boulders, created by an ancient landslide, provides an exciting and unique hiking experience. After navigating the labyrinth, we arrive at the Mitterleger, a picturesque alpine meadow. From there, we continue to Mittersee, a hidden forest lake that is particularly striking in early summer. Mittersee is a seasonal lake and does not hold water year-round, but its magical atmosphere amidst the forest makes it a special destination. Finally, we descend further to the historic Grand Hotel Carezza, where we end our hike in a relaxed manner. From here, we take the bus back to the Frommer Alm, where the Tiers cable car brings us to our starting point. This legendary event at the Alto Adige Wine Road celebrates Alto Adige wine culture with art and culinary delights. So, before Easter, on Friday, the 14th of April, he leaves Vienna in the company of his friend and pupil Sandor Ferenczi and makes a quick tour lasting just six days to find a suitable place around Trento and Bolzano. He returns to Vienna the following Thursday and his research produces excellent results in the form of Ritten/Renon near Bolzano. Consequently, on the 9th of July, Freud sets off from Karlsbad, where he was staying to recover from a bout of 'American colitis', and joins his family at Klobenstein. This is where the Freuds celebrate their silver wedding anniversary, on 14th September - the enjoyment of their holiday thus being enhanced by love and affection. 40 YEARS OF THE MERANO HIGH MOUNTAIN TRAIL This impressive hike along the historic Merano High Mountain Trail is a journey through time on one of the oldest high-altitude trails in the Alps. Upon arrival at the Texelbahn cable car mountain station, breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Merano basin unfold. The historic trail, once an important connection between mountain farms, leads past original alpine farms and lush mountain meadows. Particularly captivating are the expansive views of the Ziel Valley and the surrounding peaks of the Texel Group Nature Park.
