One way is the Jacobson relaxation technique, known as progressive muscle relaxation. The technique is an easy and quickly learned method that helps to relieve tension brought about by stress and overexertion. Untreated, under certain circumstances these tensions can result in back, muscle and head pains, stomach and bowel problems and a range of mental stress symptoms such as sleep and anxiety disorders, depression and even burnout. The Jacobson Method helps us learn to prevent such problems and better deal with damage that has already been done. Relaxation exercises have other benefits too: the body secretes fewer stress hormones, breathing becomes more even, the blood pressure falls and the heart beats more steadily. And the psyche benefits too: physical tensions are reduced and the body regains its natural equilibrium, thus increasing mental wellbeing. Stresses and strains brought about by anxiety, worries and pain diminish.

From Naturno you cycle comfortably along the Adige cycle path to Merano. From the Thermenplatz square, head eastwards through the Elisabeth Park into the Passeier Valley. Mostly flat, with a slight incline, you can enjoy the marvellous landscape along the Passeier cycle path (19 km). The refreshing air of the Passer accompanies you along the entire cycle path to St. Leonhard. The private distillery "Wezl" in Riffian/Rifiano has been around since 2012. Jochen Kofler produces over 20 varieties of grappa and fruit brandies with much love and skill. Multiple awards at the Destillata, including "Edelbrand of the Year 2016" for Grappa Merlot. Named "Italy's national winner" and "Distillery of the highest quality" in 2019. Jochen invites you to visit of the private distillery "Wezl", where he explains how the fine brandies are distilled and they are tasted with delicious chocolate.

Short guided tour in German/Italian with Eveline Bellutti. Meeting point: at the church in Mittelberg. Duration: 20 minutes, Cost: € 2. The St. Nikolaus church in Mittelberg is first mentioned in 1289. This church was enlarged in the gothic style in 1400 and has kept its appearance from that time. The tower is somewhat later than the church and was probably built in the 14th Century. It is made of natural stones laid in regular patterns. Possibly in 1400 the upper levels were altered to the gothic style and the existing windows date from that period. In 1744 a rather large onion dome was added. It does not fit the building but is still quite pleasing. In 1976, during the restoration of the church and the tower, the Romanesque masonry was discovered. In this phase of restoration also came to light a large cycle of medieval frescoes that reproduce scenes of the passion of the Lord, the twelve apostles and prophets

The spring hike on the sunny slope of Barbian leads past fields of flowers, streams, chestnut trees and historic buildings to "Dreikirchen". Meeting place at 10am at the Information Office Barbian. Hike from Pfelders/Plan to the Lazinser Alm along the meadow slopes and sparse larch forests. Walking time: 3-4 hours | Difference in altitude: 250 m In cooperation with the Nature Office of the Province of Bolzano, "nature walks" are offered from May to September. On Tuesday 14 May at 7 pm, Foto Forum will inaugurate Torno indietro un attimo, an exhibition by Italian artist Antonio Rovaldi curated by Angelika Burtscher and Daniele Lupo and produced by Foto Forum together with Lungomare. The project tells the story of the Adige River through a series of photographs, a sound and video installation and a book.

Passing through the orchards you reach the vineyards of the Lehengut Wine Estate. The bearded vulture has its breeding ground in specific parts of the Stelvio National Park. If breeding takes place again this year, a young bird can be observed from a respectful distance as part of a guided hike with partner hiking guides from the national park. The hike starts at the village square in Lajen/Laion. From here you walk together with the hiking guide Helmuth via Fonteklaus to Freins. Arrived at Petra's Honey Hut you come to the first tasting. Different honey variations are tasted and different products are discovered. All are self-produced and processed. Now it goes back to Fonteklaus where lunch is already waiting. After lunch we continue to Lusenegg where the taxi will take us to Novale/Ried. Here is the second stop - jam. At the Zinegg farm there is a wide variety of jams to taste. Performed guided tours with Max Castlunger The interactive guided tour is personally conducted by Max Castlunger. A group of people is led through the exhibition and constantly encouraged to actively participate and play together with the exhibited instruments. During this experience, important information will be provided about the materials, musical cultures, construction techniques, and playing techniques of various types of instruments. An organised adventure hike from S. Martino in Monte/St. Martin im Kofel along the Venosta Valley Sonnenberg mountain to Silandro/Schlanders with the focus on the local flora and fauna. Stop and enjoy the regional delicacies against the background of a scenic view of the Venosta Valley basin. A feature of this excursion is the 80 m-long crossing on the suspension bridge over the Fallerbach torrent.
