    Guided Bike Tour - Meran 360° (42 km 700 m of elevation gain)
    Algund/Lagundo, Meran/Merano and environs
    Guided BIketour - Meran 360° Our 360º tour through the Etsch Valley starts in Algund. From there we ride towards Gratsch and then to the Segenbühel viewing point from where we then head towards Merano. Taking several side roads we reach the cycle track leading to Bolzano. At Gargazon we leave the cycle track and reach the fabulous Brandis golf course, from where we pedal towards Tscherms. At Tscherms we ride uphill towards Lebenberg Castle, where we can look forward to a wonderful view of the Burggrafenamt region. At the Haidenhof inn we take a well-deserved break. A lovely scenic road takes us to Marling and then we return along Nörderstrasse to our starting point in Algund. We do 42 km and 700m of elevation gain

    Get in the saddle with the instructors of the Bike School for an easy excursion on the slopes surrounding San Vigilio, from where you can enjoy the extraordinary autumn views, brightly colored by the foliage.
    The route will take you along less-frequented roads, where you will discover old houses and historic farms, built in the traditional Ladin style.
    To enjoy the experience at its best, and to make it accessible to everyone, we ask you to use an electric bike.

    Bring your own e-bike and helmet (not included in the price).

    In case of bad weather the event will be cancelled.

    This hike takes us to the Nature Park Puez - Odle, part of the Dolomites Unesco World Heritage.
    We will walk alongside the majestic Puez Group, at the bottom of its peaks Cima Dodici, Capuziner and Piz Duleda.
    Reaching Fontanacia at the end of the valley, we will be surrounded by th magical silence of the pale mountains.

    We will return via the Medalges meadows, konwn for their colourful flora.

Lechtl – A Mountain Farm Steeped in History on the Sonnenberg in the Venosta Valley  During this guided tour, we learn how living and working on the mountain farms has changed over the years, and how the great events of world history have impacted even the most remote corners of the Alps.     Fresh, aromatic farmhouse bread - a not ordinary experience for the senses. During this excursion on the Marlengo mountain you will get an impression into the everyday life on a mountain farm. After a stop at the „Tschigg“, where you will be introduced to the various self-made products, we continue to „Kurzhof“. There the farmer will explain how an original grain mill works before we conclude to the „Hoferhof“, where we will taste fresh bread and other home-made products.     Giro d'Italia 2024: Start of the 17th Stage Selva Val Gardena - Passo Brocon

    After 2017, the famous men's road cycling stage race returns to Val Gardena and for the first time to S. Cristina. Val Gardena, where cycling has always played a major role, has had the honour of hosting the Giro d'Italia nine times: the first time in 1940. On 21st May 2024, the Giro returns to the valley again: after a long stage with the Cima Coppi of the Passo Stelvio, the athletes cross the finish line at Monte Pana under the majestic Sassolungo at S. Cristina in Val Gardena. The following day, May 22, 2024, the 17th stage will start from Nives Square in Selva Val Gardena. The stage is short and very challenging, with few kilometers and significant elevation gain. It begins with the ascent of the Sella Pass, and after the Val di Fassa (the only "calm" section), the cyclists will sequentially climb the Passo Rolle, Passo Gobbera, and Passo Brocon until the first checkpoint. The descent to Castello Tesino prepares the terrain for the subsequent ascent from the steepest and uncharted side of Val Malene to Passo Brocon, where the finish line awaits. The last 2 kilometers are very steep, with tight and consecutive hairpin turns, with an average gradient of 12%.

    Hike from the Rotmoos parking lot in S. Maddalena in the direction of Weissbachtal and continue right to the Joasahütte hut. Harbingers of spring and a wonderful panoramic view as far as the Braies Dolomites delight the eye and heart of the hiker along the way. Descent to Pidig and via the "Eichhörnchenweg trail (Squirrel path)" back to the starting point. Backpacking provisions or refreshments possibility in a mountain hut. Difficulty: easy-medium.
