As part of the inauguration of the Taste of Spring, the Herbal Market in Feldthurns will take place from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. Everything will be about herbs - the natural remedy for mind and body.

Did you know that wild plants are bursting with vitamins and minerals? On a short hike with herbalist Rosi, learn a lot about wild herbs and collect a wide variety of seasonal herbs. What is the difference between wild bees and breeding bees, how is a bee colony composed and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience first-hand how honey is created, harvested and processed. At the end of the tour, you can make your own beeswax cloth to take home as a souvenir. The tour finishes with tasting of the honey products. The event will be in German and Italian.

The colourful fruit that blossoms and ripens everywhere here is legendary, healthy and of symbolic significance for our high plateau. The guided apple hike includes an educational excursion to the apple trees that line the path everywhere here, as well as a film presentation and, of course, apple tasting! The Partschins Band is holding a musical day in the village. A wide variety of music groups belonging to the Partschins Band will play between 10 am and 8 pm, including the “Böhmische”, “Zieltolböhmische”, “Flo & Co” as well as many other groups. There will be plenty of food and drink available.

From 1st May to 5th May, the event Algund Gardenflair will once again take place on church square in Algund. At the Algund Gardenflair a variety of Mediterranean plants and trees such as palm trees, cacti, olive trees, various fruit and berry trees and herbs, as well as various works of art and all kinds of decoration for the garden will be offered. Exhibitors with different herbal products, such as teas, salts and spice blends, as well as specialties from the garden complete the program.

Visitors can enjoy a colourful and busy market under the canopy on Raiffeisenplatz market square in Schenna. Producer from South Tyrol present the tasty specialities and healthy delicacies grown and made in their gardens, fields and cellars. Artisans from the South Tyrol region also display their original crafts at this market.

Immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful hikes in the Seiser Alm Dolomites Region. Tour Description: We take bus line 176 from Tiers to Ums. Starting in Ums, we follow trail no. 4, which leads us through an enchanting forest and across the Schlernbach stream. The ascent is steep, but together we’ll make it—and the view from Tschafonleger and the Tschafon Hut at 1,728 meters rewards our effort. We’ll take a short detour to the Völseggspitze before returning via trail no. 4A. The descent leads past the picturesque Wuhnleger to Weißlahnbad, where we’ll end the hike together. One of the most beautiful and panoramic routes to this spectacular panoramic mountain in the Merano region is via the Heini Holzer via ferrata. The 550-metre climb is perfectly secured with 1000 metres of steel cable and is of medium difficulty (A - B - B/C).
