The biotope relaxing zone is frequently visited by young and adult guests that appreciate the three ponds, a lawn with showers, a bar with restaurant and a children's playground.
There are three small lakes: a small pond, a children's pool and a regeneration pond which was built separately, to ensure the protection of the regeneration zone during bathing season. The pond is purified mechanically, but most of all biologically.

The swimming pool is near the tennis courts of San Genesio. You will find a nice lawn for sunbathing, a bar with a smal terrace, a big pool (lenght x width about 25 metres x 10 metres + 6 metres x 10 metres, depth 1,0 - 4,0 metres) and a small one with 6 metres diameter (depth 0,42 - 0,5 metres). Due to the fresh air of Jenesien also their 'neighbours' from Bozen have pleasure to come to this swimming pool.

The Völser Weiher Lake is located at the foot of the Schlern mountain in the middle of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park, a little way from the village of Völs am Schlern. It covers an area of 1 hectare and is located at an altitude of 1,036 m above sea level with a maximum depth of 3.5 meters. The reflection of the Schlern on the water's surface and the dense coniferous forests that reach to the shores give this natural spectacle a powerful aura. Völser Weiher Lake was originally created in the 16th century by Leonhard von Völs for carp breeding. Today, fishing in the lake is forbidden, and a part of the lake is designated as a biotope. The remaining part of the lake is used for swimming in the summer and ice skating in the winter. Völser Weiher Lake is considered one of the most beautiful bathing lakes in South Tyrol.
The new warmed swimmingpool in Niederolang, 5 mins by foot from the trailstation of Olanf offers in sunny days the right chill for the body an for the soul. The outdoor swimming pool of Leifers/Laives is the ideal meeting point for children, teenagers and adults and offers the possibility to spend a pleasant afternoon in company during hot summer days.
The outdoor pool at Brunico is a popular attraction for the young as well as the not-so-young, and for athletes and sunbathers alike. Open daily during summer, from June through August.
By mid-June, the Prato swimming pool is set to re-open for the season. Situated in the sporting area in Prato allo Stelvio, young and old gather to swim, play in the water and just relax in the sun. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, it is guaranteed enjoyment for all. In summer there are also several evenings with live music programmes.
The greatest attraction of the small beach is the 42-meter-long slide, accompanied by a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains. The ample lawn provides enough space to accommodate those wishing to relax and play, while smaller revellers have another pool all to themselves.
