    Discover ANOUK, the new and eagerly awaited children's musical for the whole family. Based on the popular children's books by Hendrikje Balsmeyer and Peter Maffay, an impressive production for children aged four and over is currently being created. Anouk is a lovable and helpful girl. However, there is one thing she doesn't like at all: going to bed! Her parents are all the more surprised when Anouk suddenly goes to bed at night full of anticipation. What they don't know: Every night, a magical door opens to a world full of fantasy and adventure for Anouk. She experiences exciting adventures, accompanies pirates on treasure hunts, masters challenges in the jungle and meets colourful characters at the fair. In the process, Anouk makes new friends and helps other children in difficult and challenging situations. When she recounts her night-time adventures the next day, her parents always say: "Honey, you only dreamt it!". all just a dream!" But Anouk has "proof" that this is not the case. And her grandma seems to know more about it...

    Südtirol Gardenissima: World's longest Giant Slalom

    The Südtirol Gardenissima is a prestigious alpine skiing race held annually in Val Gardena. It is known as the longest giant slalom in the world, with an impressive 6-kilometer track that runs from the summit of Seceda to the base station of Col Raiser. The Südtirol Gardenissima attracts participants of various skill levels, allowing all ski enthusiasts to experience the uniqueness of this race. Every year, 700 participants from different countries around the world take part, emphasizing the popularity and significance of this event in the international skiing calendar. The 27th edition of the Südtirol Gardenissima will take place on March 29 and, as always, will bring together some of the best Italian and international athletes, along with well-known personalities from the skiing world.

    The little skiers on the footsteps of the Südtirol Gardenissima. In 2016, someone came up with an idea that has become a tradition ever since: the day following the regular Giant slalom is dedicated to the kids and their own giant slalom. This competition will lead the stars of the future across 1.9 km and an elevation gain of 350 m. It starts on the Seceda and the finish line will be the valley station of the Fermeda chair lift facility. All the participants will receive a start package with plenty of nice surprises revolving around skiing and healthy eating.

    Blossom Farm Festival - Lana in bloom 2025

    An insider tip of the first order is the Blütenhöfefest on Sunday, 13 April 2025, in which 15 traditional farms in Lana, Völlan, St. Pankraz and Tscherms take part. Visitors will get to know historic farms and artistic residences in an enjoyable way and savour typical farm products on site. Visitors who are fit enough to walk follow well-signposted hiking trails and hike from farm to farm, while those who are more leisurely can take the free shuttle buses to the farms from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. An overview map with a detailed programme is available from the tourist office or online at lanaregion.it The event will take place in all weathers. Please note: Not all courtyards are suitable for coaches (50-seater). Due to limited parking facilities, certain farms can only be reached by a small shuttle or on foot. Larger groups are requested to register with the farms. There are limited parking spaces for coaches in Lana, two bus parking spaces are located in Lorenzer Straße and three in Zollstraße in front of the ex-Pomus. In the event that the indicated parking spaces are already sold out, it is advisable to drop off passengers at the bus station and continue to the car park of the Exclusive discotheque in Meranerstraße Lana or to the Lana industrial area where there are additional parking spaces.

    Delights from local farms - Lana in Bloom 2025
    Lana, Meran/Merano and environs
    It is impossible to imagine Lana without the "Bäuerliche Genussmeile - Local Farm Deligths", the annual get-together during "LANA IN BLOOM" in spring. A true feast for the senses is the market day of the local farmers, who will once again offer their farm specialities on Saturday, 26 April 2025. Over 50 farmers, including local gastronomists, will occupy the Gries, in the car-free centre of Lana, and will be available to visitors from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to taste, buy and enjoy. The top priority is best quality and unconditional freshness. The "Roter Hahn" (Red Rooster), the quality brand of the South Tyrolean Farmers' Union, ensures this. The restaurants in the pedestrian zone of Lana serve exquisite spring dishes and wild herb specialities according to old and new recipes and serve fine wines.     Begining of the Festival at 2 p.m. Beginning of the course at 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. big after-Show Party with the devils of Kastelruth Every 2 years a Krampus run takes place in Kastelruth, with groups from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. The shappy fright figures with their artfully carved masks will provide again for a mad athmosphere, when they move in the village center and introduce themselves to the public. Various clubs will provide food and drinks on the parade. Afterwards a Krampus party is celebrated in the heated tent with a DJ until late into the night.
