The tour through the open-air area leads past historic log buildings such as the grain mill, the granary, the baking oven and the farmhouse, as well as the loden fulling mill, the apiary and the bowling alley. The guided tour takes one hour and starts at the museum entrance. Please note: the guided tour is only available in German!

Through the woods of La Selva, you get to the sunny “Plan de Cunfin” and then to the Alpe di Siusi, where a typical lunch is served in a mountain hut. We go by taxi or bus to the Rif. Auronzo Hütte hut (2.333 m): There we start the approximate 5-hour circular hike via trail nr. 101 to the Paternsattel (2.454m) and then on to the Rif. Drei Zinnen Hütte hut (2539m), where we rest for approximate 30 minutes. Via trail nr. 105 we continue to the Langalm (2240m) and come back to the starting point. Starting from Reischach, we embark on a leisurely cycling journey towards Bruneck, tracing the cycle path that leads into the breathtaking Tauferer-Ahrntal valley. Following the course of the Ahr River, we meander through charming villages and lush meadows, swiftly arriving at our destination—the renowned Reinbach waterfalls, a captivating natural marvel. A brief hike allows you to marvel at the majestic waterfalls and immerse yourself in the scenic splendor of the surroundings.Before heading back, a must-not-miss stop is at the venerable goat farm cheese dairy known as "Goasroscht," offering a perfect opportunity for a short rest. The power of herbs, water and scents We immerse ourselves in the power place of "nature" and let our noses be enchanted by the tast of different ethereal oils. Original, idyllic hike along the fern trail along the stream we learn about natural history and the history of the country and its people. In the mountain pine distillery we experience the processing of the essential oils and the knowledge about their content. Afterwards we dip our feet into a warm mountain pine bath and enjoy these moments of mindfulness in the hay barn. Then we visit the herb garden and finish with a hearty spread of wild herbs on "Sűdtiroler Breatl" (typical bread) and a refreshing drink. The train experts Martin Broy & Klaus Demar tell interesting facts about the history of the Rittner Bahn and guide you through the remise of Klobenstein & Oberbozen, afterwards special ride with historical train. "The machinist turns the crank, the wagon spins and purrs, a little jerk, then it starts moving..." This is a quote from 1907 when the people from Bozen took the railway Renon (Rittner Bahn) to their summer retreat on the high plateau. Even today, after 113 years, our railway still runs between Maria Himmelfahrt, Oberbozen and Klobenstein as the only narrow-gauge railway in South Tyrol.

--Cun la roda sun Mont Sëuc-- From the starting point in Selva Gardena, the route takes you along the cycle path to the Alpe di Siusi cable car in Ortisei, - experience the first special view across the Dolomites from here. Bike on a leisurely gravel and asphalt road to Compaccio - which also represents the entrance to the Alpe di Siusi - and take a left to the climb towards the Molignon Hut. --L rundenì dla Dolomites-- During this excursion, families can observe and learn lots of things about the world of bees. The hike starts at the Active & Events office in the centre of Selva di Val Gardena in direction of Vallunga, a true family paradise. From there you follow the path "Via Crucis" in order to reach the idyllic hamlet of “Daunëi”. During a visit to a beehive, children and their parents will learn interesting facts about the honey bee, its life and the honey's journey from the flower blossom to the honey jar. --La sciorta de Saslonch-- From Monte Pana, the route leads to the pastures of Plan de Cunfin and then continues along a spectacular switchback path that heads into the magnificent saddle, between Sassolungo and Punta delle Cinque Dita. The view is dominated by the imposing rock faces. Once here, follow a slightly ascending path to the Rifugio Vicenza, where lunch is planned.
