In the exact moment when the moon shines bright and lets the snow glitter around you, showing you again all that beauty of the surrounding mountains it becomes clear, that it will be a wonderful experience. A guided moonlight walk across the snow covered Seiser Alm is surely an experience of a kind. Meeting point with the hiking guide is in front of the info point in Compatsch on the Seiser Alm at 6 p.m. With warm winter clothes and a (head) torch, we start from Compatsch heading to the Tschötsch Schwaige, where a set table is waiting for us. Now it is time to enjoy the tasting menu and the merry company this evening, before we return to the starting point with the hiking guide. Suitable for adults and teens aged at least 14 years old!

At its meeting on 21 October, the National Executive Council assigned the organisation of the 2024 Winter Alpine Games to the ANA Section of South Tyrol. The Winter Alpiniadi are certainly one of the most prestigious sporting events organised by the National Alpine Association and, in order to honour this assignment in the best possible way, the Alto Adige Section has chosen the municipalities of San Candido and Dobbiaco, in Alta Pusteria, as the location for the event. The event will be held in February 2024 and will involve approximately 1,500 athletes from our Association, who will compete in the Alpine Skiing, Cross-Country Skiing and Slalom competitions, which are the classic disciplines of the Alpine Championships, to which will be added the Biathlon as a promotional competition.

Pilat Ski Show: On 29.02.24 there will be a torch relay of the ski instructors of the Ski School Ortisei and the Ski School Saslong, on the Pilat slope to Ortisei. From 5 to 6 p.m. there will be an aperitif with the ski instructors at the mountain station Seiser Alm. The slope is accessible only for ski instructors - guests are asked to take the gondola back to the valley. The torch relay can be followed either from the gondola or directly in the center of Ortisei.

A guided morning hike across the snow covered Seiser Alm is surely an experience of a kind. Meeting point with the hiking guide is in front of the info point in Compatsch on the Seiser Alm at 8 a.m. With warm winter clothes and maybe hiking poles, we start from Compatsch heading to the Gstatsch Schwaige, where a set table is waiting for us. Now it is time to enjoy the reach breakfast and the merry company, before we return to the starting point with the hiking guide.
