A hiking adventure to discover South Tyrol's mountains and get to know this unique, enchanting, panoramic world better. Limited number of participants.

We start at the Rappenhöfe farms in Kalmtal and hike steeply uphill through the forest, later across alpine meadows to the rustic Faglsalm. Here we stop for refreshments and then hike uphill again to the beautifully situated Faglssee lake, surrounded by alpine pastures and mountains. We have reached the highest point here and now hike along the high trail towards the inner valley. At the end of the valley, we then descend slightly to the Valser Alm. We return comfortably to the starting point via a beautiful forest path. Elevation gain: approx. 800 m Walking time: approx. 5 hours Difficulty: moderately difficult

From Brixen’s old town and Stufels, hike through vineyards and orchards to the Natz-Schabs plateau. Our tour guide and “apple ambassador” introduces us to the world of this crunchy vitamin bomb. Did you know that over 700 varieties of apple grow in South Tyrol alone? We taste tangy, sweet and aromatic varieties, enjoy a hearty South Tyrolean “Marende” and round off the tour with a glass of wine or apple juice - a feast for all the senses. Unforgettable hike on the bright side of Barbian. We guide you through the colorfulness of fall past vineyards, fruit trees and chestnut trees. Meeting point at 10am at the Information Office Barbian. Hiking time: 3,5 hours, stop at the restaurant "Oberweger/Kollmsnn". Return at 4pm, easy to medium hike, good footwear, rain shelter. For members of the Tourist Association Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns and Villanders the hiking is free, for non-members it costs 8,00€ per person. Excursion with the forest rangers of the Stelvio National Park in Val d'Ultimo. Starting from the end of September, with the return of autumn, the roar of the red deer echoes through the forests of the Stelvio National Park. Gstral, Kaseracker, Merl-Tennen – The History and stories behind Field Names around Oberbozen with Expert Johannes Ortner. Meeting point: 10 a.m. at Oberbozen train station. Duration: 5 hours, bring a picnic in your backpack. Hiking price: €15, free with RittenCard. Language: German & Italian. On this hike around Oberbozen, we will trace the origins of old Ritten field names such as Gstral, Höll, Kaseracker, and Tennen. Field names are "concise landscape formulas", reflecting the settlement and linguistic history of Ritten. However, these names also hold clues about past agricultural activities, local vegetation, and even prehistoric times. Field names often reflect how people perceived and categorized their surroundings. Ethnologist and name researcher Johannes Ortner will provide further insights into these and other local peculiarities. Registration with the tourist office by 5 p.m. the day before.

Approach from Stuls/Stulles to the Rafeinhof farm. Follow the original trail called "Jaufenkamm" no. 16 through the forest and across mountain meadows to the summit with ist panoramic views of the Ötztal, Stubai, Sarntal und Zillertal Alps. Forest hike to places of power & natural monuments with our guide Helga Egger. The bus takes us up from Welschnofen | Nova Levante to the Adler bus stop. From there we hike to the Staldalm farm, where we are offered a picturesque view of the alpine pastures and mountain landscape of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar. Via path [27] we return to the bus stop from where we started the hike. Return to Welschnofen | Nova Levante by bus. The soothing and relaxing atmosphere of the forest gives us the opportunity to rediscover the "fascination" of nature, recharge our batteries and free ourselves from the negative thoughts that are constantly buzzing around in our brains. We learn to relax again, to see, hear, feel, smell and taste. As we walk mindfully through the forest, we do thought exercises, recharge our lungs with oxygen, find centuries-old trees like the "snake tree" that have been growing in magical places for 600 to 700 years and are full of positive energy. Wine Festival at the festival ground of Tramin organized by the soccer club. You are invited to taste many typical dishes, served up with good live music and excellent wines from the local wineries.

Musical tales from warm alpine nights in the Lengmoos Commandery at 8.30 p.m. Entrance: € 15, RittenCard € 12, student € 5. In their new program "Abendrotleuchten" (Evening Glow), Alpentales weave golden threads of sound into the night sky. They tell stories of star gazers, Swiss Zäuerli yodels, and King Laurin’s enchanted Rosengarten. With drums, violin, flugelhorn, accordion, and double bass, they bring to life unheard tales from gentle alpine evenings. Johanna Dumfart, siblings Elias and Johanna Mader, Jakob Köhle, and Joachim Pedarnig blend jazz and folk elements into a unique soundscape, lighting up the night with their musical storytelling. When summer slowly draws to a close, the farmers bring their cows, calves, and sheep down from the mountain pastures. The reception in the valley is a celebration for everyone! Start of the festival at 10.00 am Arrival of the animals in Maiern at 11.30am At the end of September, the animals return from their summer retreat. After months of gorging themselves on lush Alpine meadows and recharging their batteries in the sun for the winter, cows and calves, sheep, and lambs migrate from the mountain to the valley. There, the numerous spectators await the festively decorated animals. But only with traditional music, in good company, and South Tyrolean specialities is the Alpine transhumance complete. Enjoyment and fun are well taken care of!

The Dolomites Medium Delicious Trail is a foot race along the paths of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites, about 35 km with 1,900 metres of positive difference in altitude, starting from the centre of La Villa in front of the tourist office. Maximum time: 9 hours. From the centre of La Villa, the route follows for a stretch the Path of the Artists and leads to San Cassiano. There begins the ascent along the Altin ski run to the iconic Gran Risa and Piz La Villa, crosses the Armentarola area and the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park. From there, the path takes the runners up to Mt. Lagazuoi at an altitude of 2,778 m, followed by the descent to the finish line at Pocol, for a total of around 35 km and 1.900 metres of elevation gain: pure pleasure! There are wonderful refreshment points along the Alta Badia route, which have been set up by Team Delicious, where you can take a break and enjoy quality products and local specialities. Thousands of runners, from more than twenty countries around the world, have participated in the event in recent years on the trails that witnessed the historical events of the First World War. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

At the end of September, it’s that time again – the village of Colle in Val Casies Valley invites you to the traditional Keila Kirschta! The festivities kick off on Saturday with the ceremonial raising of the Kirschta Michl tree, followed by a lively evening with live music and a fantastic atmosphere in the festival tent. The highlight of the weekend is Sunday’s grand parade and cattle drive. Beautifully adorned animals, magnificently decorated festival wagons, and the solemn procession of marching bands turn the village into a vibrant stage of tradition and culture. Enjoy delicious Tyrolean specialties and a fun-filled children's program – a festival for the whole family!

Here you can not only meet the best bacon producers of the region and taste their products, but also learn more about the history and production of bacon. The town of Bruneck also invites you to visit its charming old town, its impressive castle and many other cultural highlights.

Once again this year, for the thirteenth time, one stage of the European Championships in Prehistoric Archery and Atlatl will be held in the Schnalstal Valley. In the area where Ötzi once went hunting, archers and spear throwers from the different countries of Europe will meet... Event organized by archeoParc Schnalstal.

The horseracing weekend also comprises other competitions of international importance, such as the Price of Nations (which is linked to the Crystal Cup) on September 27th, whilst the main event, the 86th Meran South Tyrol Grand Prix will be held on September 28th. Meran’s Racecourse will offer a richly diverse culinary programme, including a tasty preview of the Merano WineFestival.

For the thirteenth time, we invite you to the Niederdorf/Villabassa potato festival "the original": on 27 and 28.09.2025. On Von-Kurz-Platz, the main square in Niederdorf/Villabassa, you can once again experience the typical, unique character of our potato festival. At the festival, hearty and delicious potato dishes are prepared by hand by the chefs of the HGV and the Niederdorf farmers' wives. On both days of the festival, there is a varied farmers' market and a colorful children's program: there is something for everyone. The festival is accompanied by music from various bands. Of course, the traditional potato week (19. - 28.09.2025) in some Niederdorf/Villabassa restaurants and an alpine hut should not be missed. The classic but also modern interpretations of potato dishes will delight every gourmet. We are delighted to be certified as a "Green Event": criteria such as sustainability, resource efficiency, waste management, regional value creation and social responsibility are the key factors here. A year full of sunshine, wind and water is being pressed and cellared from the grapes on the southern slopes of Castelbello during these autumn days. This new wine needs to be tasted!
