On the occasion of the Bolzano Christmas Market, one of the city’s most beloved and iconic events, we are pleased to present a performance by the Gospel Voices Family—a choral ensemble full of energy and intensity, capable of conveying the true spirit of Christmas through music.

Born from the union of extraordinary voices and supported by over twenty years of artistic experience, the Gospel Voices Family brings to the stage a rich and engaging repertoire: from the great classics of traditional gospel to more modern and vibrant pieces, enhanced by original arrangements and a compelling stage presence.

A unique musical experience that connects cultures and generations, spreading the values of joy, community, and hope that have always defined gospel music.

Gospel Voices Family is an ensemble of African-American singers bringing the authentic experience of a Gospel service to life. The repertoire ranges from classic spirituals and work songs to Christmas songs and contemporary gospel with hip-hop influences.

Top-level soloists and a dynamic band create rich, unique choral harmonies. The group has performed at major festivals in Italy and internationally, including the Roma Gospel Festival, Stadio San Siro, Toscana and Lugano Gospel Festival, and in 36 countries worldwide.

The traditional Brenner market takes place every 5th and 20th of the month throughout the year. If this day falls on a Sunday or public holiday, then the market takes place on Saturday before. At the market stalls many different interesting things, such as clothing, utensils and goodies for snacking are waiting.

The market takes place every summer from 8.30 to 14.30

During the winter months, it opens from 9.00 to 14:00

For the Christmas Market, Danima brings a warm, approachable, and dynamic soundscape shaped by two voices, guitar, cajón, and piano – a perfect match for a festive Advent afternoon.

Danima is a trio from South Tyrol, consisting of Daniele Bordato (guitar, vocals), Nico Platter (cajón / keyboard), and Manuel Pircher (guitar).
The project began as a cover band performing classic rock ’n’ roll hits and evolved over the years: in addition to reinterpreting timeless evergreens, they now also write their own songs in English.

Their concerts are heartfelt, lively, and full of passion.

Visit the Monguelfo Christmas stall by the Volunteer Fire Brigade at the main square in Monguelfo from 03:00 pm and enjoy hot drinks in a festive atmosphere.

The Fever Week is an alternative-pop band based in Bolzano, Italy & Innsbruck, Austria. Their music combines 80’s pop elements with modern soundscapes. It amalgamates driving guitar riffs, powerful drums and catchy synthesizer melodies with energetic vocals.

A few days before Christmas, we forget the pre-holiday bustle and create a fairy-tale felt oasis of calm. We will learn to make beautiful Christmas decorations from local sheep’s wool using the dry-felting technique. While crafting, we will listen to winter and Christmas tales told orally from around the world.

During the Bolzano Christmas Market, bands and musical groups will brighten the days with traditional Christmas melodies.
Taking part as well are the choirs of the Parish of St. Augustine, the church located in the Gries district, bringing a warm and authentic atmosphere to accompany visitors into the spirit of Advent.

Small groups of musicians from the music band Kiens/chienes enchant the streets of the 5 villages with their Christmas spirit and bring contemplative Christmas wishes.

Christmas Concert with the "Non Nobis Domine" choir with the Orchestra Antiqua Estensis from Ferrara, conducted and orchestrated by Marco Mantovani. Free entry.

Gernot Nagelschmied presents the well-known fairy tale of Mother Hulda as a lovingly staged hand puppet show. In about 40 minutes, young and old alike experience how diligence and kindness are rewarded, snow falls from the sky, and a wonderful fairy-tale world comes to life – full of humor, warmth, and enchantment.

The event will take place only in German.

Pre-Christmas time is San Candido time: from 20th to 21st December, the FIS Ski Cross World Cup will take place in the holiday region 3 Zinnen Dolomites for the 15th time. Fans of the "Formula 1 of skiing" can once again look forward to a total of four spectacular races at the Monte Baranci.

Experience the fascinating craft of traditional blacksmithing up close! With an anvil, hammer, and glowing iron, the blacksmith demonstrates how a simple piece of metal can be transformed into unique works of art – from horseshoes and candle holders to intricate decorations. Visitors are welcome to watch, ask questions, and even take part in the process – a captivating experience for both children and adults.

TWO RACES, ONE UNIQUE EVENT From December 20th to 22nd, the Ski World Cup returns to Alta Badia. Elite competitors will once again show their talent on the slopes with an adrenaline-fueled exhibition of skiing excellence. The difference between legend and also-ran can be a fraction of a second. And you will get to live and breathe every moment. Share the excitement with other enthusiasts as the competitors cross the finish line, where every last curve is the ultimate test of nerve. Once more, in this 40th edition, the world's best ski racers will battle on one of the most difficult tracks in the white circus. The unmissable spectacle of the men’s giant slalom taking place on the Gran Risa, in the heart of the spectacular Dolomite mountains. From Alberto Tomba to Bode Miller and Marcel Hirscher, there are many champions who have triumphed on this track, which is one of the hardest slopes in the world.

What some might throw away, Veronika Ladstätter turns into treasure. In her creative workshop, everyday materials like paper, cardboard and fabric scraps are reborn as handmade gifts and festive decorations. Children paint with acrylics, learn the art of bookbinding and experience the joy of creating something with their own hands. A colorful blend of creativity, sustainability and Christmas magic for little makers and big dreamers alike.

International speed skating championship on the Ice Rink of the Ritten Arena in Klobenstein, free entry. "The ice rink in Klobenstein is the fastest outdoor track in the world. However, it’s not only the fast ice but also the ideal altitude, beautiful panorama, and warm South Tyrolean hospitality that make the Ritten Arena a highly regarded training center and competition venue for the world’s top speed skaters."

The LanAntiqua Festival, organised by the LanAntiqua Association, aims to give "early music", which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, its deserved place in the cultural life of Lana. This music, which is not limited to any epoch, covers the periods from the Middle Ages to Romanticism. The festival's highest maxim is: original sound, i.e. the performance of the music in an appropriate sound setting on instruments of the period and with the knowledge gained from the historical performance practice handed down in treatises. Thanks to imposing venues such as the church Maria Himmelfahrt in Niederlana with its impressive altar by Hans Schnatterpeck and its special acoustics, top-class concert enjoyment is pre-programmed.

The parish church in Taufers is the setting for a musical and lyrical prelude to the most beautiful family celebration of the year.

The four cellists belong to different generations, but there are no differences when it comes to making music together. They have received extensive musical training in South Tyrol and abroad. In this concert programme, together with Andreas Benedikter on the organ, contrasting and exciting works are performed. In between, there are improvisations on the organ that refer to melodies and pieces just played by the cellists. The soft and warm sound of a cello quartet meets the power and spirituality of the organ. The Athesis Ensemble consists of musicians from South Tyrol and various regions of Italy. The instrumentation and size of the ensemble is variable - from a duo to a string orchestra. It combines a healthy mix of experience and youthful energy, consisting of teachers as well as chamber and orchestral musicians who love making music in small ensembles. The members of the ensemble regularly play in renowned orchestras, including the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, the Orchestra Cherubini, the Orchestra del Comunale di Bologna, the Orchestra dell'Opera di Roma, the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento and the Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Torino.
