The citizens of St. Ulrich have always felt a great love for music. This is reflected in the diverse and high-quality musical performances of the music band. The music band is an integral part of the cultural, religious and social life of the village. The musicians meet about 100 times a year at rehearsals and performances at home and abroad. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the big hall of the Cultural Centre "Luis Trenker".

Arrival by cab through the Val Gardena to the Passo Sella (2180m). From the Passo Sella we walk along path no. 557 in the direction of the Sassolungo alpine pasture. First slightly ascending on the alpine road, then through flat alpine meadows, we reach the Friedrich August hut (2298m). Trail no. 557 now continues on level ground to the Plattkofelalm (2250m). Our trekking guide Florian will start with you from the meeting point at the parking lot in Upper Martelly Valley to an eventful day through the wonderful panoramic world of the National Park. Together with our llama boys Giacomo, Rocky, Rono, Rambo, Casper and Winnetou, who carry your backpacks in the pack saddle, Florian will lead you to the most beautiful places with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. As a certified hiking guide, he will introduce you to the local flora and fauna. Through the spotting scope you may even be able to observe some wild animals, such as deer, chamois and marmots, and thus be almost as close to them as to the national park llamas, whose soothing tranquility will make you feel calm and balanced. We will stop at one of the most beautiful view points, while you will strengthen yourself with a snack of local products from the national park and enjoy the surrounding nature. Via the Panorama Trail we return to the starting point. Another route leads us to the Lyfialm (alping pasture) with its centuries-old primeval larches on the sunny side of the Martell Valley and right to the llama enclosure, the summer quarters of the animals in Thial, nearby the biathlon center. Difference in altitude: approx. 400 m Duration: approx. 6-7 h, pure walking time (easy tour) approx. 3-4 hours Costs (snack with local products from the national park included): 60 Euro per person, 30 Euro for accompanying person The tour is suitable for experienced hikers, also for children from the age of 6 who enjoy hiking; however, they should be accompanied by another person when leading a llama. 20 South Tyrolean wineries will present their high-quality South Tyrolean wines for tasting in the pedestrian area "Bën uní" in S. Cristina. Besides there will be served south tirolean dishes and good musical entertainment. This year with musical entertainment by the groups "Take Off" and "Handmade". The wine tasting "Sëira dl vin" in S. Cristina - an event for all wine lovers.

Carinthian folk music with experimental variations Since 2016, the music duo [:klak: ] and the cabaret duo RaDeschnig have been touring across musical styles under the name Klakradl: musical virtuosity meets indigenous texts, austere chamber music stumbles over experimental rhythms and light-hearted convivial motifs stumble over great poetry.

A guided botanical walk along the Solda panorama path: Starting in the village centre, we walk past the parish church of St. Gertraud to panorama trail no. 7, which we follow into the valley past meadows, pastures, woods and small streams to the valley station of the Solda cable car. There we switch to the opposite side of the valley, with its sunny and dry slopes. We now return to our starting point with a splendid view of the north face of the Ortler mountain along panorama trail no. 6. Along the way, we will be able to admire numerous species of flowers, including the species Pedicularis recutita, Alpine clematis, Globeflower, Twinflower , Lesser twayblade, Greek valerian, Orange hawkweed, Bearded bellflower and many others.
