The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. Now in its eleventh year, on 5 maggio 2024 Wings for Life World Run participants in Italy can also run together in Welsberg - Südtirol. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects. Track: We start all together at the "pavillon" in Piazza Centrale at 1 p.m. Our route leads around and into the village of Monguelfo and is a circuit of about 4.5 kilometres. Alternatively, there is a shorter jogging trail for families. Everyone runs as many laps as he/she can - or until the catcher car overtakes him/her. The track is level and therefore suitable for wheelchair users. Wheelchair partecipants: On 5 maggio 2024 wheelchair participants and runners start side by side at this track. The only requirement: wheelchair participants have to start in everyday wheelchairs.

Enjoy innovative bacon dishes in a great ambience: children's program, showcocking and music, as well as a small specialiätenmarkt around the South Tyrolean bacon. We’ll not only tell you all about Neustift winegrowing but also serve you its products. The tour of the vineyards together with the following wine tasting takes about 90 minutes in all. And lasts for longer. Participation in the vineyard tour is only possible with prior registration. This tour is now a must because it's simply fun! The Plose Bike guides have discovered new, challenging trails that are accessible after an additional ascent. But don't worry, for those who want to take it easy, there is still the classic, easier route available. And for those who don't know the tour yet: look forward to three peaks and varied trails: The Gitschberg Jochtal cable cars do most of the elevation gain for us. After a steep, not too long ascent, we reach the Kleine Gitsch and thus our first summit. A varied mix of technical, flowing and rough trails lead us down into the valley of Vals, where a leisurely climb to the next cable car awaits us. After another ride on the cable car, we reach our lunch stop. Refreshed, we have another ascent to the second summit, the Stoanamandl. Take a short breather and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountain landscape. On the third peak, the Alte Karl, we enjoy our third summit moment.
