    Partschins/Parcines, Meran/Merano and environs
Climatic therapy is the application of natural weather and climatic factors for therapeutic purposes. The targeted use of (cool) air, wind and sunshine trains the immune system, increases performance and helps with chronic skin and respiratory disorders, metabolic disorders, osteoporosis, seasonal depression and cardiovascular problems. The particular health-promoting aspects of this hike, which leads from the centre of the village through orchards and deciduous forest up to Partschins Waterfall, include the fresh mountain air, sunshine and the pleasantly cool breeze. Thunderous noise and the finest spray herald the waterfall, which is revealed as an impressive natural spectacle after a good hour’s walk ascending 430 metres. A boon to lungs afflicted by life in the city, soothing for the soul and spirit. Measured exercise combined with targeted climatic exposure and expertly guided endurance and thermoregulation training lead to relaxation and recuperation, as well as increased resistance and a stronger immune system.

Fiat Lux: relations between light, architecture and art in the sacred place.
    Brixen/Bressanone, Brixen/Bressanone and environs
In the enchantment of light and water, man glimpses a reflection of the divine that awakens his soul and fuels his search for meaning. Since ancient times, the semantics of light and the cult of water have accompanied the spiritual quest of human beings, the construction of sacred places and the impressive iconographic work associated with religious belief. In the setting of the Neustift Abbey, as part of the Water Light Festival programme, an outstanding conference, promoted by Zumtobel, invites to investigate these relationships. With the special participation of Giovanni Carlo Federico Villa, Director of Palazzo Madama in Turin and Associate Professor of History of Modern Art and Museology and History of Art Criticism at the University of Bergamo, and Giorgio Della Longa, Architect and Lighting Designer, expert in the adaptation and enhancement (also) through light of religious buildings, author of essays on the subject.

DUEL. Adam und Eva - related to exhibition "Adolf Vallazza 100"
    Bolzano/Bozen, Bolzano/Bozen and environs
DUEL. Adam and Eve Performance, Dance 09.05.2024, 19:00—21:00 Directed by Michele Abbondanza - Length: 20 minutes - Sculpture: Adolf Vallazza The original work reinterpreted Genesis in three acts and three totems, but here, only the first act will be staged, showing the meeting of Adam and Eve. Inspired by the very first part of the Book of Genesis, also known as biblical prehistory, the performance sees two performers, a man and a woman, spinning backwards in time from the present day. These are the world’s very first man and woman and their relationship includes Adolf Vallazza’s monumental totem that is a clear reference to the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Duel. Adam und Eva
    Bolzano/Bozen, Bolzano/Bozen and environs
Museion presents DUEL. Adam and Eve, the first act of the dance piece DUEL, which emerged in 2014 from the encounter between Abbondanza/Bertoni and the South Tyrolean sculptor Adolf Vallazza. The meeting was made possible by journalist Fabio Zamboni on the occasion of the artist's 90th birthday. The piece is now being revived as part of the Adolf Vallazza 100 exhibition, which Museion is dedicating to the sculptor on his 100th birthday. Only the first act of the original dance piece, which tells the story of Genesis in three acts and using three totems, will be performed again here: the encounter between Adam and Eve. Inspired by the Book of Genesis and especially its first part, the biblical prehistory, a male and a female performer are transported back in time: In the place of the first man and the first woman, the two will interact with Adolf Vallazza's monumental totem, which refers to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Furthermore, the title DUEL brings to mind the idea of duality, the presence of material sculptures and those made of bodies, wood and flesh, of an osmosis of juxtaposed works from the realms of the totemic and the human. The creative process runs through reciprocal possibilities of contemplation and development in a synergetic exploration of hallucinated beauty and new architectures of sensation.

Free personal medical consultancy with Dr. Di Spazio
    Ahrntal/Valle Aurina, Ahrntal/Valle Aurina
Respiratory problems? Pollen allergies? Asthma? Long-Covid?

Dr. Di Spazio will inform you how the Prettau climate gallery can provide relief here.

During the months of May and June, Dr. Di Spazio every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. (by appointment) advises you directly in the tourism hall in Luttach/Ahrntal valley. Also possible at other times by arrangement..

Free medical consultancy on phone with Dr. di Spazio, expert on speleotherapy, from Monday to Saturday, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the following mobile number: +39 347 9440182.

Cave therapy, known by the technical term of “speleotherapy”, helps relieve chronic and recurring respiratory ailments and is a feature of complementary medicine. As in damp caves, the relative humidity in the climate gallery is close to saturation. Suspended particles and allergens in the air are thus bound together and deposited on the wet rock walls. The gallery therefore contains very pure air. When this cold air (8-10°C) is inhaled it is warmed to the body’s temperature of 37°C. The warmer the air, the more water vapour it can absorb. The gallery air can thus extract water from the mucous membranes on its path through the respiratory system, reducing swelling of the breathing structure and allowing those with respiratory problems to breathe more freely. Visits to the climate gallery are entirely free of side effects.

Information on tickets of the climate gallery is available on: +39 0474 654298
