Since 2008, the pianist duo Christine Grecu and Roberto Fabris have been expanding the European musical horizon of their audience with performances in Italy, Germany, Romania, and Bulgaria. The duo has received musical impulses through collaborations with Konstantin Bogino (Accademia S. Cecilia di Bergamo) and during the masterclass of the famous piano duo Genova – Dimitrov. Their CD recorded in 2012 with works by Debussy, Rachmaninoff, and Bizet garnered significant attention. Grecu and Fabris have been awarded multiple times, including the 1st prize at the Giulio Rospigliosi competition and the Piove di Sacco competition in Padova. The village of Laas is known for its marble quarry, which attracts artists and students from many countries. But it is also known for its organic products such as fruit and vegetables and especially its juicy apricots. The Marble Village combines both at the "Marmor&Marillen" festival, with a beautiful market, food stands, live music, children's programme and where artists and sculptors exhibit their works. For more than 20 years, this cultural and fun festival has brought visitors closer to the ancient traditions of fruit growing and marble extraction in Laas.

The village festival in San Vigilio is a celebration for young and old that you should not miss. Here you can expect a colourful programme with numerous attractions and activities that have something to offer for every taste. Let yourself be carried away by the good mood and warm atmosphere while you taste local specialities and listen to music. The smell of grilled meat, fresh bread and cakes will fill your nostrils and whet your appetite. In addition to culinary highlights, there is also a rich entertainment programme.

Every year on the first Sunday in August the ancient miller's profession can be observed and discovered in the Ternertal Valley within the framework of the Mill Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.! Enjoy the splashing of the wooden water wheels while observing the grinding process in the old mills! You can savour local culinary delights such as home-baked bread, dumplings and fried specialities.
