The Horse riding school Vöran is located between Vöran/Verano and Mölten/Meltina and has a wide range to offer passionate equestrians:

On the Rona Ranch, which belongs to the Martellerhof, children not only can ride a horse but also fish in our own lake. Large lawn and plenty space to romp around.
In the land of the Haflingers
South Tyrol is the home of the gentle-natured and sturdy Haflinger horses, which are bred all over the world. Just like everywhere else in the country, there are excellent horseback riding opportunities in and around Lana, offering Haflingers and other breeds. Carriage rides across the town of Lana for the whole family are offered once a week during July and August.
Lana Equestrian Park and the Merano Riding Club
If you would like to get a closer look at the Haflingers, you might want to book a trial riding lesson. Many stables also offer guided tours on horseback or pony treks, as well as individual or group riding lessons. The Lana Equestrian Park offers a wide spectrum of services for accomplished riders and breeders, including livery, while the Meran Riding Club lets you discover the diversity of breeds and disciplines at their extensive riding facilities.
If you are more interested in horse racing and athletics, the Merano race track is the place to be.
Racing season at Maia Bassa
The Merano race track in Maia Bassa is the main meeting point for Haflinger fans every year, when the traditional Haflinger race is held on Easter Monday. At other times, the track hosts racing events with noble thoroughbreds from around the world. During the entire racing season from spring until autumn, fans can watch top sporting events with professional jockeys. The season highlight each year is the high-stakes 5000 m steeplechase event, the 'Meran-Forst Grand Prix', held in late September.

Once a workhorse for farmers, today it is considered a charming, versatile leisure horse, well-siuted to beginners and expert riders, adults and children alike.
Dreams come true - make your first riding experiences and enjoy the close contact to our horses. Brushing and saddling the horse is of course part of the package.

With its varied program, the Unterlanzin equestrian centre has something for everyone. You can take riding lessons in groups or enjoy a one-on-one lesson in our fenced riding arena. Accompanied by a trained and experienced riding instructor and a cross-country riding leader, we offer the opportunity to go on rides of different durations around Kastelruth and Seiser Alm.
The farm Oberfahrerhof in Flaas near Jenesien offers you full-day riding, half-day riding, riding lessons and carriage rides for people of all ages in front of a beautiful mountain view.

We, the family Tschurtschenthaler offer from June to September guided rides from one to two hours on Noriker horses, and programs for adults and children, beginners and advanced. Our horse riding center has ten horses.
In winter, the club offers an experience for young and old of a very special kind: sleigh rides with the beautiful horses in a cozy wooden sleds for maximum 4 persons. Directly from the stables then it comes in a beautiful winter landscape to Talschlusshütte where can strengthen at a comfortable rest horses and sledders. Overall, a sleigh ride takes about 2 hours.
