Since June 2023, the Bodnerhof has opened its doors to horse lovers and riding enthusiasts. 

Whether you are already at home in the saddle or sitting on a horse for the first time, we have the right adventure for you. Do you already have riding experience? Then you are welcome to join us on a ride. We will show you the most beautiful trails and take you on a breathtaking adventure.

Would you like to improve your riding skills or is this your first time on a horse? You are welcome to attend a western-style riding lesson with us, where we will individually cater to your previous knowledge and show you the world of western riding and fine communication with the horse.

Whether spring, summer, fall or winter - we offer our services at any time and look forward to seeing you.

The farm Bacherhof does not only offer you a petting zoo for children, but also traditional South-Tyrolean delicacies as well as daily guided riding tours and rides on the back of ponies for the young.

Horse riding holidays in South Tyrol - Italy The main emphasis of our stable is Western style riding, but we offer training in the English riding style as well. It is a new and different pleasant way to discover the beauty of South Tyrol and of the Italian Alps!

The riding stable Sulfner offers courses for beginners, children's tours, individual or group lessons in the sand track for beginners and advenced students or trekking for several days and also carriage trips.

You can be trained riders or just beginners, you can come alone or in a group, riding one of ourHafling horses or your own one, anyway we will be glad of your visit and we will do everything, in order to fulfill all you personal wishes. For us the horseshoe is definitely a lucky symbol. As we spoke about beginners, don’t be shy! Start your first riding holiday in South Tyrol! Our guided rides will enjoy you. A lot of funny days on horseback will wait for you.

Every tuesday: trip with horse-drawn carriage including tasting and coffee break.

Lessons/Rides/Western saddle trekking: Western saddle (children – adults), 1-10 days trekking, rides for beginners and experts (starting from 1 hour) on the paths of the Val Badia in the nature parks Fanes-Sennes and Puez-Odles with the guide Raimondo. Barbecue rental Open all year round if requested.

A unique, untouched nature embraces the guests of this house at the entrance to Fischleintal at Sesto. The atmosphere is friendly and familiar, here are families with children feel right at home. The picturesque mountain scenery with the majestic Three Peaks provides summer and winter for relaxation and wellbeing. The location is quiet, but nevertheless traffic-favorable.

    In the summer in the beautiful Fischleintal a coach service at scheduled times from Dolomitenhof to Talschlusshütte - no reservation needed.

    We, the family Tschurtschenthaler offer from June to September guided rides from one to two hours on Noriker horses, and programs for adults and children, beginners and advanced. Our horse riding center has ten horses.

    In winter, the club offers an experience for young and old of a very special kind: sleigh rides with the beautiful horses in a cozy wooden sleds for maximum 4 persons. Directly from the stables then it comes in a beautiful winter landscape to Talschlusshütte where can strengthen at a comfortable rest horses and sledders. Overall, a sleigh ride takes about 2 hours.

We would like to bring our love for horses closer to our guests. To explore the nature of our valley in this way - for us there is nothing more exciting.

In the middle of the wonderful, natural landscape of the Schlern massif area are the Unterlanzin riding stables with stunning panoramic views of lush meadows, forests and the Schlern Mountain. Horse lovers from all over the world will especially enjoy the peace and quiet here, which suits our Haflinger and Quarter mix horses that radiate calmness. Here, everyone, whether old or young, can explore the wonderful mountain landscape of the Dolomites on horseback.

With its varied program, the Unterlanzin equestrian centre has something for everyone. You can take riding lessons in groups or enjoy a one-on-one lesson in our fenced riding arena. Accompanied by a trained and experienced riding instructor and a cross-country riding leader, we offer the opportunity to go on rides of different durations around Kastelruth and Seiser Alm.

In the land of the Haflingers

South Tyrol is the home of the gentle-natured and sturdy Haflinger horses, which are bred all over the world. Just like everywhere else in the country, there are excellent horseback riding opportunities in and around Lana, offering Haflingers and other breeds. Carriage rides across the town of Lana for the whole family are offered once a week during July and August.

Lana Equestrian Park and the Merano Riding Club

If you would like to get a closer look at the Haflingers, you might want to book a trial riding lesson. Many stables also offer guided tours on horseback or pony treks, as well as individual or group riding lessons. The Lana Equestrian Park offers a wide spectrum of services for accomplished riders and breeders, including livery, while the Meran Riding Club lets you discover the diversity of breeds and disciplines at their extensive riding facilities.

If you are more interested in horse racing and athletics, the Merano race track is the place to be.

Racing season at Maia Bassa

The Merano race track in Maia Bassa is the main meeting point for Haflinger fans every year, when the traditional Haflinger race is held on Easter Monday. At other times, the track hosts racing events with noble thoroughbreds from around the world. During the entire racing season from spring until autumn, fans can watch top sporting events with professional jockeys. The season highlight each year is the high-stakes 5000 m steeplechase event, the 'Meran-Forst Grand Prix', held in late September.

On the Rona Ranch, which belongs to the Martellerhof, children not only can ride a horse but also fish in our own lake. Large lawn and plenty space to romp around.

The Adamhof stables offer introductory lessons and guided rides out into the terrain for children, beginners, and advanced riders. Romantic carriage rides or a sleigh ride through the snowy winter landscape of the Sarentino Valley round out our offers.

The Horse riding school Vöran is located between Vöran/Verano and Mölten/Meltina and has a wide range to offer passionate equestrians:
