Discover the history of the miners on an easy family hike The Miners' Trail follows the existing hiking trail from the Rosskopf mountain station via the Telfer Almen to the miners' settlement on Telfer Berg, which then leads into the Ridnaun High Trail. Thematic panels have been set up at selected locations along the trail to explain the historical aspect. The family-friendly hike is rewarded with breathtaking views. This intriguing production featuring self-built log and wine barrel drummers, a dancer, and a fire juggler creates a special atmosphere. Drums, horns, and natural materials played by a large group (Sissamba) led by Max Castlunger, provide an exciting sound experience, accompanying the dancing witches led by the dancer Marialuise Stanghier from the Lowlands and the enchanting fire juggler Corina Walder from Sillian. Additionally, there are the magical sounds of the alphorn and didgeridoo by Swiss musician Mathias Müller. Immerse yourself in the wonderful world of the honey bee. Together with beekeeper Michael, you will open a beehive at one of his travelling stands, watch the busy bees at work and learn all sorts of interesting facts about them. The tour ends with a tasting of various honey products. Climbing is fun, not only for the children! On the climbing wall we train strength and agility in a completely playful way. But we also experience community and learn what it means to act in a self-determined way. By exposing ourselves to calculable risks, we experience success and failure and learn how to deal with them. The course is aimed at children from the age of 8 and adults. Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent!

During a guided exploratory walk through the vineyards with winegrower Michl, you will learn everything you need to know about wine: from its history, to care measures, varieties and marketing. At the end of the exploration you can taste South Tyrolean wines and thus get to know the aromas and tastes of the region.

Summer evenings in Verdins: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal and listen to music. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Verdins. Societies in Verdins also organise various forms of entertainment.

Matthias Schönweger is considered one of the most versatile artists on the South Tyrolean scene. He is a writer, visual artist and performer. In a playful and scientific approach to language and subject matter, he creates works of the most diverse "kind". Schönweger is characterised by his irony, which he brilliantly turns into the grotesque in his works by declaring even the worst kitsch to be a work of art. He reflects on historical stories from the past and present and uses them to generate numerous quiet still lifes in and out of words and images. Sophie Lazeri is a person who communicates through art. Her work focuses on social, political and cultural phenomena, which she translates into a colourful mixture of patterns and forms, creating tools to educate and inform. The diversity of her work is as fluid as her nature: between graphics, illustration, painting, tattoos and performance, she finds ways to express herself. As part of the cultural exchange, she will be showing a performance on the subject of "Selfcare", in which she celebrates the female body and its existence. The artist Bianca Lugmayr deals intensively with language, materiality and abstraction in her work.Her signature is the fast, freely sewn line, which stands for liberation from perfectionism, raw beauty and the value of error.In her graphic text works, the act of production itself, the force of the sewing machine needle perforating the fabric, reinforces the power of the repetitively written words. What they have in common is the line and the textile grid as a pictorial medium. An extension of her oeuvre is the auditory and visual performance with the sounds of the sewing machine and trumpet, which she developed together with the musician and composer Alex Kranabetter.He leaves the boundaries of conventional trumpet playing behind and creates music between free improvisation and electro-acoustic sound art. DJ TEATIME, also known as Ella von Brandis, is a passionate music lover who has been spinning records since 2003.She was part of the Viennese DJ and promoter crew The Loud Minority. DJ TEATIME's versatility stems from a broad musical spectrum. She knows how to mix jazz, hip hop, pop, disco, house and electronic music in such a way that she sensitively adapts to every mood and every occasion.

In 2024, we celebrate 150 years of Haflinger breeding in South Tyrol as well as the Provincial Federation of South Tyrol Haflinger Horse Breeders’ 70th anniversary.
