    Festival of the voluntary fire brigade of St. Maddalena/Villnöss valley starting at 6 pm with musical entertainment. On Friday , the 'Duo Flexibel' band plays and on Saturday the 'Quintett Alpin'. Tyrolean specialities (Tirtler, doughnuts, Strauben & grilled specialities) will be offered. The festivities start both days at 6.30 pm.

    Alpine hay Special: experience mountain hay harvesting
    Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
    On this adventure hike, we immerse ourselves in a time when life still had an uncomplicated course, when there were no access roads to the mountain meadows, the tools were simple and basic, yet sophisticated, and of course there was no smartphone for a long time. We set off on foot and reach the mountain meadow, where we will explore the topic of mountain hay, not just thematically. For this weeks version "Light" we go to a mountain meadow at the end of the Ratschings valley. The exact location has not yet been decided. It will probably be the meadow about 300 m behind the Kneipp facility. The starting point is the Ratschings Jaufen cable car valley station (also accessible by bus), from where we will continue together towards the end of the valley.

    Hike in the crispmorning air across the dewy earth to a breath-taking lookout point, guided by our National Park rangers. Complete the experience with a rich breakfast made up of farm-fresh local products at a mountain refuge. • Duration: 5 hours • You need: Outdoor clothing, headlamp, backpack (with spare clothes, rain jacket, snacks and drinks), hiking boots • Difficulty: easy • difference in hight: 385 m a.s.l. • Tour length: 7 km • Price: 20€ including breakfast at the mountain hut • Free transport by shuttle bus from S. Valburga in Val d’Ultimo to the starting point and back. Departure at 4:15 AM from S. Valburga (Tourist Office). The shuttle will make the same stops as the public transport service. When booking, please indicate your chosen stop.

The rock climbing park near the Adolf Munkel Trail is the place where our experienced guides teach the basics of rock climbing. Rock climbing is an amusing way to develop stamina and dexterity. Meeting point: Zans car park (distribution of equipment) Start: 9.30 am - Return: approx. 4.00 pm Departure from Zans towards the Adolf Munkel Trail (approx. 45 minuntes of hiking).     Guided sunrise hike with breakfast

    From Laion, we take a taxi to the starting point at the "Ramitzler Schwaige" hut. From there, we hike with our guide Herbert up to Resciesa. Upon reaching the summit cross, we can enjoy the first rays of sunshine and the breathtaking view. Afterwards, we return to the "Ramitzler Schwaige" hut, where a delicious breakfast awaits us (not included). After breakfast, we continue our hike back to Laion.     KIDS on a journey of discovery in the forest

    Open your eyes! Open your ears! Off we go into the forest to explore with all our senses. We look around, maybe we'll find something edible? Wild strawberries, wild herbs, mushrooms ... We play nature memory, build our farm with branches and moss. We do obstacle courses, balance over tree trunks or build a marble run. Fun games of tag are also on the programme. So, get out into the fresh air and join the adventure with exercise trainer and sports scientist Evi!
