"Craft market APPAT" Arts and crafts The traditional craft market in Kastelruth takes place in the summer months of July and August. It takes place every Wednesday in the village square and offers a variety of traditional handicrafts and, but also artisan products such as woodwork, glasswork, leather goods and much more. There are also a number of artisans offering handmade jewelry, ceramics and other handcrafted products.

From the Vorderkaser Alm, we hike to the Eishof and, following the ascending military path, reach the Eisjöchl (2,895 m) and the Stettiner Hut just below (2,875 m). After a rest at the hut, we descend the path to the Lazinser Alm (1,860 m) and continue to Pfelders (1,624 m), where the bus will pick us up. Summer on the Ritten also this year is enriched by a series of evening events called "Rittner Sunnenseitn". There are three evenings under the stars and each evening is dedicated to a different motto. A gourmet menu with a panoramic view! The Berglertafel mountaineers’ dinner is a five-course menu of typical dishes from Tiers served in a stunning setting. The venue is Proa, a mountain pasture with a view of the Rosengarten. There is arguably no other vantage point in Tiers am Rosengarten from where you can see the famous alpenglow of King Laurin’s famous kingdom ... and all this while enjoying a fabulous gourmet menu. The table is more than a 100 metre long and can seat 170 gourmets who – in the form of a row – can enjoy a fabulous meal and, at the same time, this unique view of the Rosengarten.

The heart of the historic city centre will once again become a get-together for locals and guests on these four summer evenings.
