    Every Friday, herbal experts Sieglinde, Renate and Maria organise outdoor workshops along the herb promenade in Welschnofen | Nova Levante. The topics of the workshops are as varied as nature itself and vary from week to week. The 1.000 participants of the race as well as the organizing team of the Tour Transalp are always happy to be welcome in this tourism destination. On June 21st and 22nd 2024, Kaltern will hold the penultimate stage. The TOUR Transalp is one of the toughest bike races worldwide and gathers thousands of bikers as well as enthusiastic fans.

    Yoga at the foot of the Latemar with hike

    What makes yoga at the foot of the Latemar so special? It's the silence, the nature and the breathtaking view. Together with yoga teacher Johanna Kompatscher, we will walk to the lake Mitterlegersee | Lago di Mezzo, a rare natural phenomenon that is only visible once a year for a short time after the snow melts. In this idyllic setting at the foot of the Latemar, Johanna will guide us through a meditative practice that strengthens and promotes our strength, flexibility and concentration. During the dynamic Prana Flow, we will merge our breath with movement and practice yoga with mindfulness.     Guided walking tour with the guide Sepp Lamprecht on the Rittner Horn. Meeting Point: 10.15 a.m. at Pemmern/Tre Vie, where the gondola starts (bus 166 from Klobenstein station at 10.03 a.m.) Duration: 5-6 hours with lunch break. Distance: 12 km, difference in elevation: 400 m, Cost: € 15 (bus/gondola extra), free with RittenCard. Language: German + Italian. The high-level hike begins at the Schwarzseespitze peak, the mountain station of the Rittnerhorn cable car. The highlight of the tour is a fascinating panorama of the Dolomites, including more than 40 peaks of over 3,000 m which can be seen in good visibility. Arolla and mountain pine trees are features of this tour.

    Dolomites Bike Day

    The Dolomites Bike Day ia a unique kind of Saturday! Cyclists of all abilities can ride together on closed roads, up and down the local mountain cols and passes. The 51km loop is open to anyone: professionals, amateurs, youngsters, and beginners. Even using an e-bike is allowed! On this Saturday, from 8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. the Dolomites passes roads Campolongo, Falzarego and Valparola will be closed to the traffic and reserved exclusively for cyclists. At the non-competitive cycling event, every cyclist can take part for free. We recommend to ride in counterclockwise direction. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

    Living heritage of the Dolomites The travelling exhibition with 20 impressive panels was designed for the 50th anniversary of the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park. The open-air exhibition shows pictures of the impressive landscape of the nature park and the diversity of flora and fauna. The exhibition also tells of the beginnings of the mountain refuges and of the people who live and work in the nature park. The exhibition travels to every village in the Dolomites region from June to October and is accessible free of charge.
