Tour Description: We take bus line 176 from Tiers to Ums. Starting in Ums, we follow trail no. 4, which leads us through an enchanting forest and across the Schlernbach stream. The ascent is steep, but together we’ll make it—and the view from Tschafonleger and the Tschafon Hut at 1,728 meters rewards our effort. We’ll take a short detour to the Völseggspitze before returning via trail no. 4A. The descent leads past the picturesque Wuhnleger to Weißlahnbad, where we’ll end the hike together. The hike takes you along the Riffianer Waalweg with a magnificent view to Kuens/Caines to the Hilber Mühle, the largest mill in the Passeiertal Valley. Here, Adolf provides interesting information and stories about the mill. The tour then continues to the Pillinghof farm in Kuens, where you can taste home-baked bread and various herb butters and gain an insight into how these products are made. One of the most beautiful and panoramic routes to this spectacular panoramic mountain in the Merano region is via the Heini Holzer via ferrata. The 550-metre climb is perfectly secured with 1000 metres of steel cable and is of medium difficulty (A - B - B/C). Under the expert guidance of a certified mountain guide, you conquer the impressive passages on the rugged rock faces of Ifinger peak. Via ferrata beginners and families with children from the age of 14 who enjoy walking and climbing will find here a feasible sporting challenge and enjoy an unforgettable experience!

The event starts at 10:00 a.m. at the town hall square in Naturno and takes place in any weather.

Guided walking tour along the Freud-Promenade with the Freud–expert Francesco Marchioro on the occasion of Sigmund Freud's birthday "I was born on May 6, 1856 in Freiberg, Moravia." Meeting point: Ritten Railway/Train stop Lichtenstern at 2.15 p.m. (train from Klobenstein or Oberbozen at 2.06 p.m.). Free participation without reservation. "I need a place where I can be alone with a forest nearby..." Letter of Freud to Jung (February 1911). And how did this link between the ideal place for Bolzano residents to go for a bit of 'Sommerfrische', or summer cool, and the genius tourist Sigmund Freud come about? In a letter dating February 1911, he reveals to Carl Gustav Jung «Next summer. I need a place where I can be alone with a forest nearby». So, before Easter, on Friday, the 14th of April, he leaves Vienna in the company of his friend and pupil Sandor Ferenczi and makes a quick tour lasting just six days to find a suitable place around Trento and Bolzano. He returns to Vienna the following Thursday and his research produces excellent results in the form of Ritten/Renon near Bolzano. Consequently, on the 9th of July, Freud sets off from Karlsbad, where he was staying to recover from a bout of 'American colitis', and joins his family at Klobenstein. This is where the Freuds celebrate their silver wedding anniversary, on 14th September - the enjoyment of their holiday thus being enhanced by love and affection. The solemn procession into Bressanone Cathedral begins at 9 a.m. for the festive mass with Bishop Ivo Muser. At around 10.15 a.m., the procession of St. Cassian begins with the holy relics through the streets of the town, accompanied by local bands and the Brixen citizens' band, the marksmen, clubs and associations. The procession is opened by the processional flag and the parish of Vahrn. This is because the people of Vahrn saved the relics of the diocesan saints from theft and desecration during the French period. On the occasion of St. Florian’s Day, the feast day of St. Florian, the patron saint of firefighters, the Band of Schenna invites you to a short open-air concert on Raiffeisen Square in Schenna. A musical tribute to this special day, celebrating the bond with the firefighters and the community.
